Mortis Unique

Was browsing the wiki, decided to look up Mortis's Necklace stats, The SW stats compared to the DK stats is beyond unbalanced. Same for the ranger, 10% hp is quite a bit. We SW and Mechs just get a lowsy 45 dmg. MAYBE, renew that unique with similar stats for all. Same for the helmet, it's insane. For SW, the ONLY thing remotely worth using is Riddle and even some take that into question.

 

I think the 10% Attack speed is a much wanted stat. I think the name of the shield he drops now is called Enigma. This is dropped by Khaly way more than mortis. I know for a DK there are Helms with way more hp and armor than this but this does have the most damage.

 

That amulet is useless for all classes ... I don't know if anyone is using it. Everyone who plays Mortis ... got this amulet over 50 times in average ... drop rate explains it all.

Enigma is the old name for riddle. Long time ago it was called enigma ... before they have changed it.

 

Yeah, 3 of the 4 mortis uniques are good for dk's (the shield is pretty bad, the mask, amulet and cloaked wrath sword are very useful for a good number of builds). The necklace is probably relatively second least desirable and my dk uses it, glyphed up to 45. It partially helped solve my previous weak crit rate issues and the boost in armor and health improved my stats over my previous legendary necklace until i find a better legendary.

Another to look at it is to compare it to legendary items. My guess is that nearly any decent level 45 2x or 3x damage necklace would beat that SW amulet, plus give you one or two more useful lines. But the dk seal of death at 45 seems to be better than most level 45 armor + crit + health legendary amulets i could see my self finding.

 

I've ran 200+ times, have only got the viper helm, Yes, i know that is not alot of runs but enough to expect something. Only unique I want IS Riddle, seeing as mortis hasn't dropped it(can't even count how many runs I've done), was hoping khalys had a better rate.

 

From my experience Duria, Mortis has a higher drop rate, but Khally is much easier to find a grp and kill with less burned resources. So you can get way more kills on her than mortis in a shorter time span. I have let myself consider Khally a GOP farm run instead of a place to look for uniques so there is never any disappointment, only excitement when the unique happens. In either case the drops are indeed rare.

 

Agreed, and if it were not for the Dragon Shackle, I would still be using the DK's Mortis Amulet. I was sad to see the crit go, but 100 damage (from the full set) and the fire resist goes a long way towards making up for this.

 

Being on Agathon, hard to get Mortis parties outside of guild. I maybe do 10-20 a week, depending how much ess I have farmed. Riddle being my only goal, the hunt is long and never ending...
