Where is all this discrimination coming from? The higher populated servers?

There's a similar thread here on the forums...depends on how you play and your build. I'm a RA and can most of the time find groups to run the PW maps just fine.

You know, I've been wondering the same thing, I've never seen a RA left aside or discriminated in Tegan, I run with a RA friend quite often actually, and the sinergy between my SW and his RA is quite good, add my couple's DK to the mix and we sweep the maps quite nicely.

What's funny, is that my friend is clueless about a lot of technical information regarding character building, attack speed breakpoints, crafting methods, and a lot of other end game things, also he's 100% free to play, but, somehow his ranger is above the average, because his instincts are very good, he catches up to strategies when running maps in mere seconds without anyone explaining him the plan and although his trial and error method for testing builds is not the ideal, I gotta admire his dedication.

    Hey there @Hityr ,

Thank you for your post ;)
As you may know, there is no other topic so discussed all over Dracania - so, please, be sure that there are many threads with the same goal - providing to rangers a better/fairer game experience ;)

We applied in the past some measures to tackle this issue, but, according to your feedback, it was not enough (if it had any effect), so rest sure that we are sending and sending your feedback to dev. team from Drakensang project :D

Currently, we have no information of additional measures to fix/minimize that situation...

    Cheers,

I know what he means... if I spend some minutes reading the chat in server Heredur all groups spam "slots free for dwarf or mage" or just dwarf, or sometimes for a tank when they don't have one. Sometimes they're even kind enough to clarify "NO RANGERS".

I've also been kicked from groups (when they didn't realise they had invited a ranger), before they see me play or even had time to see the colour of my beautiful cloak. But maybe the funniest moment was when a guild member invited me for a Q3 fatal run and 2 of the group left, yelling at him that he should have invited a mage or dwarf, again before seeing the said ranger.

Basically if you say you're a ranger your chance of getting an invite deminishes drastically, no matter your skill or DPS. And then rangers do the same thing to other rangers, or they risk people leaving the group. Not that rangers are weaker, but many players just seem to believe they (we?) are useless.

That's simply the majority of randoms in Heredur. Luckily none of this matters when guild and friends are online.

And that is why I don't help randoms. They don't deserve help from someone like me if they are so narrow minded to think that RAs aren't a useful part of the team (on top of the fact that many randoms just want me to carry them while they pick up loot). It has been proven again and again and again that a well built RA is just as capable as a well built SW (though mechs are still the kings of boss DPS), yet these noobs think that RAs are somehow a lesser class. Just say "EDIT them" and enjoy grouping with your guild mates and friends who are likely 10x more competent than the randoms out there.

I think I will be creating one Wiki page "Noobs of Duria" where players can post such things in comment section ... with some rules of course.
