    Hi, myhayevil,

currently most DK's use one hand to get the 4.0 attack speed. It will be hard to achieve this on a 2-hand weapon unless you have really good gems and runes. You can get away with having lower atk speed and use rage attack stacks (at least 1 point invested) to push you over 4.0.

Skills may vary but these are what I consider a must:
    • Banner of war
    • bloody wild swing
with max 10 points both, those are your primary tools for dealing damage.
    • Invest both points into offensive specialty (increased attack speed and cooldown reduction per critical hit).
    • Getting the enhancement for banner of war is also helpful as the knights deal significant damage and can occasionally take hits for you.

As a DK you also need defense, because unlike other classes you will pretty much always take hits.
    • Dragon hide all 10 points is a necessity.
    • I also highly recommend to use spike shield enhancing talent that will let you regenerate HP each time you get hit.
This becomes indispensable when dealing with poison minibosses, as you will immediately regenerate back HP that you lose when in the puddle.

If you have the second offensive specialty point, dealing critical hits will significantly reduce cooldown on both skills, so you can activate them much more often and in turn deal more damage without dying. If you still have trouble surviving, you can invest some point into the enhancement talent that reduces cooldown on dragon hide & furious battle cry by up to 10 seconds.

The rest may depend on your style, if you have 2H weapon I would suggest using rage attack to push you over 4.0 attack speed. If you want to deal max damage on single targets (boss, miniboss or sentinel), put max points in all of these:
    • iron brow
    • ground breaker
    • outburst
Chaining all 3 on a target will remove all its armor, allowing you to deal full damage.

Then, your final damage can be as high as:
    • 175% base from mighty wild swing
    • +100% from attack speed buff
    • +300% from banner of war boost (don't mind the description, you get full dmg bonus even without monsters inside the banner).
    • +x% of whatever critical damage you deal on given difficulty.
Those multiply, so you can deal much higher damage than your "normal" numbers suggest. Example, if your regular damage is 50k, and your critical damage is +150%, your most efficient hit could be as high as 1 750 000 of damage.

Wisdom points will greatly influence your overall stats, if you have low wisdom level (e.g. under 100), invest significant portion into armor and resistances as there they make the biggest difference (aim for at least 30-40% reduction), and the rest on critical value, alternatively on attack speed if you are getting close to 4.0.

For items, just try to get as high level as possible (preferably extraordinary, legendary or unique tier). Always identify the best value on that item, and then use respective gems and enchantments. Remember that as a DK you need more HP than other classes, so a few items should be on HP (HP base values and enchantments have good value even without gems, for crit, armor, resist and block you need a combination of wisdom and good gems to make a difference) I recommend using as many onyxes as possible, which translates to about 4 items with critical value enchantments. Onyxes and zircons are your biggest priority for upgrading.

Don't dwell too much on your current items, you will replace them all eventually. Unfortunately BP removed lockpick chests in the desert, so your only chance is getting into a group that will let you with them. Some of the most profitable farms at your level are:
    • Desert merciless and later bloodshed (you need a bit of luck to find a good group that will kill monsters by themselves), for gems and cubes.
    • Temple Sector infernal for runes: try to get all 5 of these runes: dmg, crit, atk speed, HP, armor, resistance (all resistances).
    • Q1 circle, to quickly gain XP - again you may need a bit of luck to find a good group.

One final suggestion: solo farming is very inefficient in current climate, not only with regards to speed but also drop of useful stuff. Dungeons on anything lower than infernal don't offer anything useful apart from XP, so unless you can solo at least infernal in reasonable time, join with others. In my experience most people will let in anyone on infernal, on merci and blood you won't always get lucky but it's still possible :)

I think it's a bit early anyway given the class balancing joke I recommend you take a spin on YouTube and see the balance before wasting so much time on this class!

However at first the skills looked good but they are all crippled and they suck enough, why are they meant for a support game? and that also ruins group play, because other classes don't need those support skills, there's no denying it.

Having said that the use of skills depends on your style of play I recommend the 1h + the new shield and a defensive one for that 2h is an end game thing with very high stats and perhaps not very funny.

These are the skills how I use them:

Here is the bonus on the banner ability that works if you have mobs nearby up to a maximum of 10 before using it.

It is obvious that you will not be able to have the bonus without mobs so useless on almost all bosses and you will have to use the smash.

Armor Breaker is a joke, they are -60% armor -30% elemental damage + - 15% armor + -30% armor on 3 skills, and the max is on 1 mob, the rest will always be -45% on armor.

The problem you will see on the map when the first of another class uses his skills while you are there and takes out all the mobs that you can hardly eliminate. Which will then move to another place to do the same while you're watching.

So the support skills are perfectly useless and the damage is lower.
I'm not saying that there are no strong users among the DKs but the game setting is the same and thought like 1-2 years ago.

After they had boosted their stats, most of the users either went alone or preferred to exclude the DK this for obvious reasons.

It works without mobs, try it ;) it does "full 10" effect everytime you have a banner active. Probably a bug, well if they fix it I quit as it's the only tool that lets me do at least some damage...

Maybe something is wrong, trying it on the map seems to work regularly, from the bosses I often find myself not having the bonus on 1 skill, with mobs under the banner, without mobs or bosses in the banner no bonus that uses 1h or 2h does not change.

I also checked the damage and that's it.

    I find several bugs!

Many of these don't make skills work.

But we are not paid to do their jobs and solve the problems they themselves create.

Of course there are lots of bugs, some of the "area" skills don't do damage when near an obstacle or on uneven terrain, sometimes the BWS doesn't register at all. And what about the armor breaks when surrounded by enemies, good luck trying to hit the correct monster with iron brow.

Even then, BWS with full bonus doesn't increase our DPS that much on single targets as it's a cooldown skill.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are other hidden bugs in all skills... how long did it take them to fix the unstun, or the bugged stacking above 4.0 attack speed...
