Hi! I have a sujestion for the devs team, how about to stop wasting your time in pets, costumes, emots, mounts etc and give a beter use of it in things that are realy inportant for the game, for example inprooving the drop in Bloodsheed maps that is just ridiculous for shuch higher dificultie, how about to make small changes like the size of mouse icon so we dont have to always loking for it, how about to ad a gloing color on runes so it became easier to find them in the maps ( this is alredy sujest in other posts).
I know that is not easy to please all the palyers but i believe that the majority prefere new content such as new chalanges new weapons or sets whit unic habilities, new maps, etc etc.

Nothing wrong about cosmetics... and things like drops are subjective. The most important thing is stability and trustworthiness - they have a problem with that. Then there is fixing bugs and balancing. Let's hope they got on that. Then comes the usefulness of sets and items, and interesting bonuses thereof. We'll see how things turn out. Then come important QoL improvements, like the cursor size customisability and dropped rune glow, which you mentioned. They could do it with little work, honestly. I'm surprised they still haven't done those.

Cosmetics are sort of a "side project", and subjective adjustments are the last thing to do, when everything else works already.

I couldn t agree more, Cosmetics should be one of the last things to do when there are lots of things tha need to be fixed , just take a look at compendium, where we still have achievements to do in paralelworld in painful excrutiating fatal etc.

This thread should be directed at the Producers, not the Developers. Devs work on what Prods prioritize.

And Prods are usually more focused on what will drive maximum revenue, not what will enhance player enjoyment, especially if the players aren't payers.

I don't care about cosmetics personally, but some p(l)ayers do. If a new mount can keep a player interested in participating in and paying for the attire for an event, we all win: The game doesn't get shut down, and perhaps BP will allocate more resources to the Dev team, hire an extra body to work on some of the game play improvements mentioned above.

    Then we don't agree.

Cosmetics aren't the last thing, they are a whole different thing, out of the hierarchy, they're a side project. If different people are working on them... and it is that way... it is completly independent.

Im sorry maybe i didn t express my self clear i what i mean is that stability and trustworthiness showld be priorized, cosmetics have they value especialy if they come as a reward in progress bars on events instead of depending on luck, as dkarl says personally i also dont care about cosmetics but some players do and each new cosmetic will keep a player interested in participating in and paying for that.
What i trying to say that i agree whit you is that most important thing is stability and trustworthiness .

I'd rather see them sell cosmetics than continue the path of being a p2w game as they've done for the last 9 years. Pretty sure the dude hired to draw pretty pictures for the game isn't the guy hired to write codes or fix bugs, so I don't see why we can't (theoretically) have a functional game and make it pretty at the same time.

While it would suck for f2p players that they monetize cosmetics, i would prefer that instead of monetizing events, potions and the like.

Monetizations of cosmetics doesn't really hurt gameplay, monetization of events and the like does really hurt gameplay.
