PVE Event August 2022 Cheating

How is it possible for players to be online 24 hours a day 7 days a week ? I asked this to support did not get an answer.
Answer Multiple people are playing on 1 account pretty easy answer
Why is nothing done about the cheating ?
Well bigpoint is having a hard time keeping Drakensang a float right now and people are buying there 2nd cloak for this event now so they can get a full month's bonus from it and we like the cash flow so we do nothing about it .
This game is full of cheats lag and forever long loads that people end up having to play solo get bored and leave the game.
I do wonder what some people are like in real life if they have to cheat on a dying game.
Not having a go at the developers just saying the cheats should be banned.
Double loggers are doing this event nothing is done actually joined 3 pick up groups in a week with people double logged.

 

Various reasons come to mind, account sharing, bots or just being afk while the game runs, or maybe they evolved and don't need to sleep anymore.

Apart from that being very difficult to prove, it is not a very serious offense, I don't think there is much motivation to do so, their last punishment (bag exploit) month ago was a fiasco is still not finished, there are not many players left so removing them is probably not in their interest right now.

As much as I hate cheating and unfair gameplay, I personally couldn't care less about this one, since this event is not really a competition, if people are willing to waste tremendous amount of their time and resources to achieve very little, although it for sure is against the TOS, I'd say players getting boosted are cheating more than them.

If you're AFK I thought the game logged you out after a certain length of inactivity (30 min. I think)?

yeah, although there are ways around it, such as shoving a bug under your mouse, putting a cat on your keyboard etc.

 

Seriously, there are more important things to worry about.
