Compensation for last weekend

    Dear Heroes,

    As you already know, we had big server issues on all instances last weekend - they started on Heredur, and we had to do an emergency shutdown because of a critical bug.​

    The reason why it took so long was that our office in Berlin had some major internet issues preventing our network from being reached for a while. Because of these issues, Heredur went offline, and also your progress has not been saved upon changing maps. ​

    This was not an easy pleasant weekend, for neither you or us. To apologise for this inconvenience, the Game Team decided to book all players who played in the past two weeks premium membership for 2 weeks (all instances).​

    The booking will be done during our next downtime (release 139).​

    We are really sorry for this situation, it should definitely not have happen again.

    Greetings Heroes,

    Some of you who have not received the premium compensation yet, and we apologise for this delay and inconvenience. Unfortunately we cannot fix this with tomorrow's hotfix because we needed to focus and concentrate on the server stability. The missing premium compensation issue will get fixed with the next release (next week).

    Greeting Heroes,

    We have just received information about the missing premium bookings: ​
    • the script that was supposed to run today but it will not run as it needs more testing
    • the script needs to have an extensive testing phase – as it hold the possibility to error and cause damage
    • in order to avoid any negative side effects the script has been postponed
    • the new proposed date for running the script and reimburse affected player is the beginning of January
    • the exact number of players affected by this issue is not exact (between 5-10k), which is one of the reasons why the script has not been rolled out today.

    Hello Heroes,

    We would like to assure you that our developers and QA team are still checking and testing the script for booking the missing premium. It might not be as easy as it seems which means that we still need to wait longer than expected. We are really sorry for the long wait, but those who didn't get the compensation yet, will definitely receive it!

    The missing Premium compensation should have now been booked to everyone who did not receive it until now. If any of you still did not have the 2 weeks of premium credited, please contact our Customer Care Team through the Support link, with your character name, user ID, and server you play on, and you will be assisted further.
