Talk about a click bait title. A better and more realistic title would be "A minor bug with the Cute Doggy."

Thinking about it, it actually makes total sense. The puppy doesn't increase the selling price based on the price of the stack; it increases the selling cost of the individual items. Each of those is only worth one copper, so that makes them worth 1.05, 1.10, 1.15, or 1.20 copper (depending on the level of your pet), but all those still only rounds to 1.
I'd be willing to bet that any other item that sells for one copper would experience this same "bug."
