Should the bloodrune nerf come to the live servers?

    While I am personally not using the Bloodrune weapon, I do see the nerf of it that we can see on the Test Server as unnecessary, and, honestly, harmful for the game.

    It is about on pair with the Q4 set for all the classes, here better and here worse - maybe, but the only thing that requires real rebalancing is the Q7 set for all the classes (I'd advocate revamp of the set), and the Q8 set of the dwarf. Some other useless sets could be improved, that's true, and 1h weapons should be improved especially, but nothing really needs a nerf except for the sets pointed above.

    Overview of the bloodrune nerf from the TS:
    They're changing the unique value so that it will be counted differently, and while the value stays, people will effectively lose even one fifth of their total damage (eg. you might go from 60k to 48k).

    A simple question: Do you want the Bloodrune to be nerfed or not?

    This Nerf is absurd. My efforts for Drakensag are ending.

    No a deal is a deal, a hand shake is a hand shake, a business transaction is a business transaction. If a player earns/buys something it should nvr change unless they make the effort to change it with cores or glyphs. All this gear was bought earned in good faith and Bigpoint should keep their word. Changing gear after the fact is just deceitful business practice.

    Oh I don't use blood moon for the record so change would not effect me..

    As far as I am aware they have only fixed the bug which we already knew it is a bug.
    Not that I am having something against the blood rune weapon users ... but other items were bugged in the past and they got fixed later. Not a big deal.
    In example ... Dragan Set's item unique values were working with longbows. They fixed it later on.
    Alan's Set was having 100K damage in the time when cap level players were having around 5K damage and the cap damage was 100K.
    Asar's items and the sandwhirls were bugged ... they got fixed.

    Nothing unusual or different than previously, with blood rune weapon.

    that wouldn't be a problem if they either gave back the resouces and items used to power up or if crafting full platinums and farming cores wasn't so annoying
    Oh you're a ranger you don't need it, you see, BP balanced the ranger around the q7 set and so all rangers must have it
    Really? was it a bug?Did they say it somewhere?

    It is a change in the gold rating ... currently works in the bonus so that it increases the basis of bloody weapons + valorizes bonuses for two-handed weapons from the dragan set + books on the injury .... will not raise the base value of the weapon, and overall, this weapon will fall in DMG ... even if they raise the base of the weapon to the base value of the weapons Q4 / Q7 so it will lose compared to bonuses Q7 or Q4 .... so that it make scrap. The only small advantage is that the player will have some freedom in sets. In the meantime, they only plan to adjust the gold credit bonus without increasing the base of this weapon.

    Here you have a link to a nice comparation video that finally shows how mages have fallen and yet they want to nerf the weapon that a lot of us use. Mages have to use mana buff w Bm as well as pot spam just to keep up with double hp rangers or dwarfs with q8 set.

    I don't truly care whether it gets nerfed or not it'll just prove so the need of few means more than the wish of many in this game and also so somebody up there doesn't care about us .
    Also it wouldn't be a problem at all if and boy it's a big IF we'd get our cores and plat lines back because this is just another straight off nerf and spit in our face for our free time and money.

    Yes, I'm a ranger, but despite that, I managed to create a good set around the bloodrune bow.

    I had some work but it was more enjoyable for me.

    Now, just like the mages, I'll have to start over again. No Thank's!!!

    Not really.

    In English, it says "Increased damage on this item". Then, they're fixing the bug.

    However, they are Germans themselves. German version is at least equally important.
    What does it say?
    "Increased weapon damage on this item"

    Truth is... they don't know themselves what should it be... and they're changing it.

    On top of that... since probably they are not going to change any descriptions... if it goes live, I'm gonna claim that they actually bugged it.
    Polish version has "You weapon does 100% more damage" - aka it should be weapon damage.

    What about those who play only one language version? How can they even understand that it was a bug in the first place?

    That was a relic of pre-hoaxbow era and you know it.

    It's like... probably not even anything similar was in the description.

    I think it was clear it was a bug, too... since bosses used to be resistant to armor breaks back then.

    Here, however, we don't have such a clear situation. It's the same as with mind control - remember the pre-R155 and pre-R209 descriptions of Astral Phenomenon?

    Also... I'd like to remind you... the last time you advocated strongly for the "bug" to be fixed on MC's 5p. talent... what did it bring?
    If this goes live, I'm going on "bug" hunt. There must be some more...

    this is just absurd, now all of a sudden its bugged, what the hell i never read anywhere that this weapon is buged , it took a lot of time and resorces to craft 4x platinum weapon and transfer into and now all that hard work was for nothhing and i woul have to start all over ,, this just takes away any will to cuntinue play the game

    Leave the weapons that people already have unchanged and change the new weapons

    Man you have to come up with a sistem that won't affect the items people have every time you change values

    This is very messed up you can't be sure of anything in this game

    I am a mage and i am hating beeing a mage. I made 4 platinum weapon and transfer to the bloodrune weapon. Not just that ; I changed my helmet and gloves because of bloodrune stuff. So i had 3 items 4 platinum and dso crumpled it and threw at garbage. Is it fair? Please say that is that fair! I am so tired for these kind of nerfs. I hate dso and these people who are not mage. Because most of the other classes hate mages and they are very happy for mages's nerfs. I am ashamed to being in this game and to being a mage. Go to hell dso...

    People should understand that it's not about the mage or any other class its about the items in this games it could happen to any class

    I'm a dwarf and this change doesn't affect me but this could just as well be one of my item

    Like I said we need some item stability in this game or a serios compensation

    actually its not a bug, they changed the values of the equipment and set item bonuses, let me show you:
    As you can see in the picture above the 3 piece bonus was 100% weapon damage on the old set.
    Therefore not a bug, just the items themselves changed in unique values and set bonuses
    Next up is the other problem, that I will point out.
    The bloodrune weapon as it is now, and even as it is in R224, is not really noteworthy, mages think it is but, how much HP does a player have with the mortis set?
    So whenever your hp drops below 33% you are weak, how many hits to be that weak? 1? half a hit on normal?
    Imo I would change the bloodrune weapon unique value to 150% idoti no conditions added to it but straight 150% idoti, especially with mortis in the mix.
    Which is also why im not voting but choosing door number 3.
    Would I use it as a dk if it had 150% idoti unconditional? Yes I probably would...

    if i knew it was a bug, i would have never used it in the first place
    The thing is, if crafting full platinum and farming cores wasn't such as pain it wouldn't be so much of a problem, ok, the lost damage will be an annoyance, but nothing that can't be resolved

    on TS they eliminated the limitation on 33% hp

    (the description is in italian language so this is the translation) the bonus now say: "+100% increased damage on this item", without the limitation of 33% hp.

    reduction of 20% of total damage versus Q7 / Q4 weapons without counting their bonuses. In that overall view, the loss will be even greater.
    In that case, they would have to level the base of the weapon to the level of Q7 / Q4 ... and still be at a disadvantage in total damage compared to Q7 / Q4 ... the only advantage will remain freedom for the other sets.

    Let's put it this way ... Bloodrune is viable for all classes yet most don't take it because it's the weaker choice now it won't be even considerable.
    Also this seems to be a nerf by quite a lot for a 4 piece set that is not even comparable to 2 piece q7 set of rangers.

    the problem with the other classes is that they can't build a competitive and viable end game build without using the q7 set, every other build is inferior and so they lack the freedom that mages have, relative freedom that is, because you still can't build a viable 1h build for end game purposes
