    Hello all.
I assume this is the correct department to report bugs since there is another thread addressing Outstanding Bugs.
On a number of maps, I have noticed that there are some instances where a mob will appear invulnerable, whether utilizing a single target or AOE assault. When this occurs, after encouraging said mob to slighly relocate to attack you, you can continue your attack sequence and cause damage as usual.
All instances reveal an environment component that the mob had shared. Sometimes it is obvious, like a bench that the mob location was sharing; other times it seems as if the issue was a slight divit or mound that the character would be able to walk over unimpeded but this occassion acts as a 'shield' for the mob.
I started noticing this when on winter-based maps and most times the situation was just a minor annoyance. Now that I am balls deep in Atlantis maps and engaging mutiple Gorgon-type mobs, I find my level of aggrevation escalating to the point wher I have resolved the extended combat, reach a safe spot to zone out and log off. This combat bug forces me to use more resources to remain alive and changes the mood from exciting to stressful.
Since beginning to play DSO, I have encountered a number of issues, of course, most not worth becoming upset about. Aside from the dreaded disconnect, I would rate this my #1 grievance - and now that it is commonplace to have multiple boss Gorgons, minor Gorgons and numerous other critters with staus altering effects attack en-mass in the game, it is no longer simply a minor annoyance.
After reading the existing bug thread, I see nothing mentioned about this. Has anyone else noticed this?
    Anyway, thank you for reading.

I experience this in Atlantis region too. First saw this happening in Mount Suvius and in almost every map higher.
It is annoying, I agree. You have to move around the mob to find the open spot or draw the mob away from these spots and then attack.
Not a problem when we are fighting a Melee mob but when Ranged mobs like Gorgan Warriors in Heart of Atlantis are spawned at such spots, it is tough and frustrating to draw them away from those blocking components and then attack.
Being a RANGER, I usually mark the mob and use percision. With this BUG, I make no damage on these mobs because all my shots hit the components blocking them. At such instances, I lose all my concentration which went waste, then I have to dodge the mob's attacks until my Concentration regens and in the meantime try to find the open spot to hit.
From what I have noticed, this bug is in Atlantis region alone. Haven't seen this happening in 40+ maps.

I've encountered this bug on possibly every map I've been on recently, Winter Event map, Atlantis maps, Gleaming Mountains, Thunder Crest, Stalgard... haven't noticed it on parallel world maps yet, but I could be wrong. Mostly when a monster shares an object space. And there are some objects where this bug tends to be a constant "feature" such as the aforementioned benches in Heart of Atlantis, pillars and rocks in Temple District and various other objects and terrain features on other maps.

Ya , it happens in a lot of maps and sometimes they are really bad. In Varholm when ur almost reaching the boss spot there is a bad one that dont let u go ahead.

It is happening on all maps.
The reason for this are previous releases and introduction of "destructible objects".

It happens everywhere, also in PW maps. And it's not just that monster are spawned 'inside' objects and walls, they often walk there as well. You know those annoying witches that walk away from you when you come too close, they walk away and hide in the walls where i cant hit them, except with dragons fury IF i happen to have enough rage to cast it. Any other attack fails.

Exactly. It's indeed annoying to keep bumping into invisible obstacles.
