    20-55

    Duration:

    16th of October 12:00 CEST –
    8th of November 23:59 CEST

    Event Summary:
Once upon a time, there was a wicked, yet beautiful queen. When she died, the people rejoiced. When she returns… begging for mercy won’t save you.

    Fear of Ghosts!
Head to Oldfield in Kingshill, there you will meet Sophia the Elder, who will provide you with your first event quest to help you get started with the Festival journey.

Collect Sophia’s Remedy to enter the Darkwood Path to the Creepy Castle, but be prepared for the challenges that await you there.

Collect Saved Souls from Witchqueen Gwenfara and her minions.

Use Light Essences to defeat Witchqueen Gwenfara and her minions in the Creepy Castle.

Help the Oldfield villagers against the evil ghost attackers!

This is the first event map, starting your ghost journey! There you will find Sophia the Elder, the Quest keeper, providing you with the first quest from the event quest line, also Shady Jon, the Event Merchant, offering his amazing rewards to help you finish the event. In this map you can get Saved Soul, the progress item, and Light Essence, needed for being able to deal damage to the monsters in Creepy Castle.

After clearing the map, Morven, a map sentinel, appears, with a guaranteed drop of Sophia’s Remedy and some Saved Souls and other great rewards.

    Darkwood Path:
Enter the Darkwood Path and lighten the lanterns. Defeat the Castle’s Keeper to proceed into the Creepy Castle and face the Witchqueen Gwenfara herself! But be careful on your journey! It is rumored that there is a cruel beast wandering around the Decayed Graveyard, practicing even more evil magic!

In this map you can find Saved Soul, the progress item for the main event, Light Essences, needed for dealing damage to the monsters in the Creepy Castle, Scary Skull, the progress item for the mini event (more info about the mini event below) and a lot of other great rewards. In the beginning of your journey there, you will meet Larpalon, a Quest keeper, he will provide you with some quest (if you have accepted the “Spooky Visitor 4/5” one from Oldfield first) to prepare you for the greater challenges that await you when you get further into the event, from Deathbringers to Castle Keepers and even…legendary evil spirits? Defeat the ghosts that will stand in your way and head to the Creepy Castle to defeat the Witchqueen Gwenfara and her minions!

    Creepy Castle:
This is Witchqueen Gwenfara’s and her minions’ lair, where only the bravest dare to step on.

When you first enter the map, you will meet Ward the Ghostly Guard, a Quest keeper, which will provide you with the final quest line for the event (when having the quest “A Tale of Heroism 3/3” active from Darkwood Path). Keep in mind that enemies in this map can only be defeated when using Light Essence or having the Ghost Festival Event Attire active (more info about it below). Quick Overview

    Required level:

    20-55

    Duration:

    23rd of October 12:00 CEST –
    8th of November 23:59 CEST

    Event Summary:
Beware the beast, it eats flesh. Beware the beast, it brings the dead…

    Evil Spirits!
Enter Darkwood Path and search first for Lord Pomeroy, a Quest keeper, who will provide you with the quest “The Wendigo” and head to the Decayed Graveyard. Keep in mind that you need to interact first with the Summoning Slate to get the Salamander Blaze buff in order not to die and deal damage to the Wiedergänger monsters and Wendigo itself. We suggest you to make the mini event in a group, because it lowers the time you spend on the event, due to the faster interacting with the Spell Circles and the less resource cost, also spending the first days of the event in event resources farming, such as Sophia’s Remedy, Light Essences, Ghost Fire, Life Force etc., so that you are well-prepared for the mini event and for the main event in general.

    Decayed Graveyard
This is the part of Darkwood Path, where you drop Scary Skull, the progress item for the mini event. Before proceeding with the challenges there, you need to interact first with the Summoning Slate. There are 5 minutes, 15 minutes and 30 minutes version of it, each one costs 50x Ghost fire, the only difference is the greatness of the loot you are going to receive after defeating Wendigo with each one of the buffs you choose, meaning the one with the shortest time will provide you with the greatest loot. There are 6 Wiedergänger Keeper. When you enter the Graveyard, a Wiedergänger Keeper will appear on one of them and you must chase him and interact with the Wiedergänger Spell Circles where he appears (3 times in total). After you clear and the last Spell Circle where he appears, Wendigo will appear, the legendary evil spirit.
    015.png 016.png

    Wendigo
This is the main boss of the Ghost Festival – Return of the Dead mini event. It appears when you chase all Wiedergänger Keepers on the Spell Circles in Decayed Graveyard, part of Darkwood Path. Its drop is determined by which Summoning Slate you interact with. When you reach the lair of the legendary ghost, keep your eyes open for the powerful attacks the boss has, when its minions are inside the purple circle, they are undefeatable. It drops Scary Skull, the progress item for the mini event, and there is a chance to drop the Little Irusan pet from it, giving you amazing bonuses during the event.
