End Guilds in DSO?

    They helps weaker players and makes easier to find group + it's sort of social. Apart that it's always sort of inside rivalization.
    Definitely "no" and I'm one of the most radical solo players around which should tell you sth xd

    But what I would do instead is removal of soul stones. That's basically a cheat with sort of economy we have now. Weaker solution - make soul stones tradeable for mighty guardian stones in 3:1 or 4:1 ratio.

    Both of you have stupid ideas

    First of all, you want to remove easy resurrections in boss fights, you group exactly because it gives advantages to you, and this is one
    This is not a single player game, it is a multiplayer game

    Players should be encouraged to form groups

    Second, guild provide a much easier way to form groups with other players, primarily because they can group players of the same language

    And it reduces the chances of meeting with parasites and dead weights and newbies attempting to get carried and wasting resources
    Also,you're with people you trust

    In regional chat you find all sorts of people

    It isn't stupid at all - what we have know is EXTREMELLY stupid in terms of reviving. Revives in group basically costs couple dozens cheaper, considering droprates, than solo while you play in group to have easier boss fights NOT cheaper boss fights. There is absolutely no reason to have players pay in group less than players who play solo. And definitely not that absurd difference as we have now...
    Absolute minimum in my opinion is to secure andermant purchase ratio which is 1:3 stones to guardians which means sort of trade npc - may even cost small amount of gold who cares. Right now you have to be biggest EDIT to not have stones while in solo mode there is chance you can afford only 1-2 revive per 6 hours of play. Moreover stones for solo players are useless and we only spend some seconds to pick them on map as they have same icon as lockpicks and refiners. It's hillarious ;):rolleyes:

    Btw. once again as i feel like some people at forum are deaf - DSO is both single player and multiplayer game. I advice you strongly to learn how genres works. If you would cut from DSO singleplayer mode i assure you with 100% certainity game is dead ;)

    I do not understand you would abolish guilds who, in guild bonus, could add higher andermant drop rate to guild members just as you have with wisdom, coins and ep and in guild buff and maybe a guild skill system that can be opened with andermant or gold and guilddonations.

    No, DSO is a multiplayer game,it's an MMO RPG, so players who insist on playing solo should be encouraged to form groups

    Guess what, you admit you're a radical solo player, you handicapped yourself and you have to deal with the consequences
    Or you can actually group and have less problems

    Also, players in groups and solo players pay the same, the prices are the same and if you play with your head you would have no problem
    If you die too frequently, it's your issue

    I can play solo and farm hundreds of andermants per day and that's low, if i farmed efficiently i would have much more andermants per day
    Where do you farm on?
    Also, consider farming wisdom and unlock the second chance talent

    Bro, listen yourself... and please don't treat me like a noob with "farm second chance talent"
    We don't pay same for reviving and i have no issue with dieing as i very rarely die especially because i like lazy gameplay:p. As i wrote somehwere else - 6 hours of farm couple days ago and i got 200 anders. Thats totally possible even on sth as high as inf II/inf III. This is however issue of ander lootrate but all in all there is no guarantee you gonna farm hundreds of anders per day. No, you unlucky you coming home with close to 0 so that's pure bs what you saying. That one is definitely an issue for solo players as even with very rarely dieing you can end day with less anders you have started.

    However that's not most important. Most important is combined change of stones and anders lootrate with recent release. Always have been the case that solo players had to pay more anders for reviving which was and is in my opinion stupid but let's leave it. Up to recently there was some sort of balance, bad balance but it was. Now we have 4x-5x or maybe even higher lootrate of stones while loot of anders had been significally lowered. Solo players have issue with reviving right now even if they don't die frequently while players in group can die several times on every single boss fight without consequences. Difference in real payment for each type of revival isn't anymore 3x like was in old days and was acceptable but couple dozens of "x". It's TOTALLY BONKERS.

    And because players who play in groups are totally blind for that issue i suggest removing stones would be "nice" option. Initially DSO had balance of 3x but with time past we were getting into slightly higher and higher numbers. Now we are finally in 30', 40' range and it's only getting worse... Rule of thumb is whenever you can't secure balance you don't make differentials. Easy.
    Bp definitely would approve that sort of request ;)

    What we have atm, is not guilds but a secondary friends list with a green group chat. It makes it easier to form a reliable group, but guilds can be much more than that:

    Guilds could give the grind in this game some purpose at last. Instead of grinding to be able to do more grinding, or to upgrade just my own character, it could be grinding to be able to contribute to a guild, to build it and make it strong and respectable, and to make it actually advantageous being part of a good guild.

    So, destroy the guilds? No. Instead, make them better.

    Guilds today are worthless, having a list of friends guilds are useless.

    They should update them and make them give improvements to the players, something that invites you to be part of an alliance and not only to go in a group because that's what friends are for.

    A good idea would be a kind of wisdom of alliances, with improved bonuses, that everyone will contribute points to give benefits that will help you in the farmeo or slight of your character, more gold, damage, speed,% of legendary and / or unique, higher rate of fall of andermant, etc, etc, etc ...

    Well, considering certain statements, you come across as a newbie, especially by claiming that you die and you end up loosing undermants
    Strange, because after every gameplay session, i end up gaining andermants, not losing them
    And yes, by farming you can farm hundreds of them per day
    Perhaps your lazy gameplay is the problem, if you played carefully you wouldn't have problems and maybe you'll never die
    Also yes, unlock the second chance talent in the wisdom section

    And yes, andermant drop rate is lower than before, so the solution is to increase it a bit, at least to the level it was prior to r220

    No, solo players paid the same to revive and if it wasn't true, that's no problem, this is a multiplayer game, you're expected to form a group

    Guess what, newbie, the solution is simple: restore the ability to buy spirit guards for realm fragments
    Easy solution
    But hey, that's apparently too much for the radical solo player to realize
    Understand that in MMO games radical solo players should be encouraged to form groups

    of course it would approve, because it want players to pay more
    Unfortunately it also has a good amount of newbie bootlickers or worse that either defend it or favour it to their own detriment

    And you're one of such newbies and not only you're a newbie, you're either a liar or someone who doesn't understand the game

    Say whatever you want, you have right to do so, but you never probably worked in gaming industry nor was real tester/balancer in any meaningful game. Your opinion means very little in comparison to mine ;) You basically know nothing but i really don't care. There is plenty of guys similar to you that played DSO for couple years have 60k+ dmg and think they understand everything. Well... nope ;)
    So peace bro. I can spare time to argue with sb like Traki but with sb like you i definitely won't :D

    I don't think i understand everything, however i recognize that your opinion is wrong
    The radical solo player playstyle should not be encouraged and group play should be favoured over solo play
