    Is there any plans to raise level cap and add more lands to go to? Doesn't seem any reason to purchase any memberships if this game is done.

    well, there are rumors going around that level 60 is around the corner
    And certainly the fact that they put experience book in the anniversary event is telling

    I am sure many players will agree with me when I say I do NOT want an increase in the level cap. The cost in glyphs to raise my gear to level 65 will be astronomical given the current formula. Also given that formula, if I start melting down all the exos that drop now, because they are "only" level 55, it will only produce a fraction of what I need, so there is no way to actually prepare.

    I understand why BP feels the need to do this to us because they know by setting players back in therms of their progress, it buys them time to work on updates and expansions while the player base has to go back to grinding, not to become stronger, but to minimize the losses in their over all strength, which takes time.

    The problem I have with this is that a mere 5 levels isn't that hard to achieve, and many players will do it quickly, there will be a few equipment updates (maybe) and players will find a way to overcome the subsequent nerfs that have taken place across the last few releases.

    All this results in, in about a year the discussion comes back, everyone gets paranoid about the cap being raised to 65, there may be a new Q in the PW but no other real content to speak of, BP will introduce another series of nerfs based on "player feedback" and around and around and around we go.

    What I would suggest is IF you are going to increase the cap, increase it to lvl 100. This will introduce a much longer time required to hit the cap, and the motivation behind playing will change from being about the grind to being about the journey. Yes it will require new maps to get us there but realistically, with PvP being what it is now, nobody is playing this game for PvP anymore, and designing maps is something the art department should have begun immediately after the sands of malice expansion. All of the time and effort that went into garbage releases, fake bug fixes, sneaky nerfs and really, just crapping all over the player base and making the game less enjoyable for most of us, could have been spent designing new continents and quests.

    I have a few things to say about gear updates but will save for another thread to avoid going OT in this one.
