Suggestion New character class: Shapeshifter/Skinwalker

    New character class suggestion:

    Shapeshifter / Skinwalker (Tank-Healer hybrid class)

    Basic Skills:

    1. Bear Paw - Deals physical damage to every enemy in front of you (180 degrees attack, affects multiple enemies). Can make cut wounds that will bleed for n seconds, causing % of your base damage (in addition).

    2. Wolf Bite - Deal poisonous damage. Causes % of your base damage in poison for n seconds. (ignores enemy armor). Every n-th attack has an n% chance to turn your enemy into a werewolf for n seconds (doesn't work on bosses) which will attack your enemies and deliver n% of your base damage

    3. Blood Thirst - Steals n% of your enemy's blood (n% of their maximum HP). Has an n% chance to stun your enemy for n seconds.

    4. Bear Roar - Stuns all enemies in near proximity for n seconds. Has an n% chance to scare some of your enemies and make them run away for n meters (before they turn back and attack you again)

    5. Swarm of Bees - Unleashes a swarm of bees (360 degrees attack) for n seconds. The bees will fly around you, stinging your enemies and lowering their base damage by n% (bee force field) for n seconds. Every enemy stung by a bee will suffer n% of your base damage as poison damage for n seconds and their attack speed will be slowed down by n% for n seconds.

    6. Dragon Breath - Deals fire damage to every enemy in front of you (180 degrees attack). Can set enemies on fire and make them burn for n seconds, delivering additional n% of your base damage as a fire damage for n seconds.

    7. Dragon Wings - Creates strong winds that slow down your enemies movement and attack speed by n% for n seconds (360 degrees attack).

    Advanced Skills:

    1. Bear Skin - Allows you to turn into bear for n seconds. While in bear form, your maximum HP will be increased by n%, your base damage will be increased by n%, your movement speed will be decreased by n% and your attack speed will be decreased by n% as well.

    2. Wolf Skin - Allows you to turn into wolf (or werewolf) for n seconds. While in wolf form your attack speed will be increased by n%, your movement will be increased by n% and your current HP will regenerate every second by n% of your maximum HP.

    3. Dragon Skin - Allows you to turn into dragon for n seconds. While in dragon form your armor will be increased by n%, your movement will be slowed down by n%, your fire resistance will be increased by %n, your ice resistance will be decreased by n%, and your Dragon Breath skill won't cost any mana and(/or?) won't have an active cooldown.

    4. Bat Skin - Allows you to turn into bat (or vampire) for n seconds. While in bat form, your Blood Thirst skill won't have an active cooldown. Also, a Blood Aura (n meters in radius) will be created around you. Everytime you will use your Blood Thirst skill to steal the HP from your enemies, all of your allies (inside of your Blood Aura) will receive an n% of the HP you have stolen (group healing ability)

    New class is in development (assasin/rogue). I think this class don´t fit to this situations and for me isn´t this class any good

    ...said no one ever about this sort of game.

    Every other game in DSO's genera has way more options for race/class combos. I remember watching a review from two years ago that commented on this point and saying that it makes the game feel like it is stagnating. They weren't wrong. We can use at least one more this year and another next year and then wed be closer to a decent amount of variation.

    Back in July 2015 Haruki talked about the new class:

    about the new class... If we had already a clear prototype about it, don´t you think we would have already started teasing about it? The new class is something that is coming to Drakensang well after the content expansion. Of course we already have some ideas about it but we still need to make the final decision. And, no, it's not the Plague Doctor.

    That was right after she talked about guild wars:

    Guild battles: they are coming after Lor'Tac and we know how important this is for all of you, guys. So do not worry because we will announce them loud and clear and across languages so everyone gets all the cool info in their mother-tongue (exclude the Twitch sessions, of course...)

    Let's not forget, they were also addressing pvp matchmaking back then also:

    PVP matchmaking fixing: yes, this is still on the works and it's also a long process because it entails a lot of thinking, designing and investigation from the side of the game developers and designers. It is not in the roadmap because we do not have a concrete date for its implementation yet. Rest assured that it will be directly addressed after Lor'tac.

    They forgot about all of that, they were implementing important stuff like bad events and creatress tears

    I think a new class would be a great thing. but i do not think another full combat class is a good idea. we need a priest class someone who can group heal, supply buffs for party, resurrect fallen party members ect. i think a full support class would support and enhance more group play and encourage higher teir runs

    More's the pity. The idea of the Plague Doctor was rather interesting; a Melee DoT archetype would be fun to play, and it would fit really well with the trend of naming my characters "Doctor..." or "Dr..."
