Old school server

Once again, same question. Can some of us at least hope that in the distant future, there might be a chance for classic server, or is it clear this wont ever happen?

Do you mean the game as it was in the beginning?

How the game was first couple years made very little money, so from owners perspective it be completly retarded to do this.

 

Compared to today, how was the game 2 years ago? Better, the same or worse?

 

The game's playerbase was much bigger back in lvl 40-45 era if i was a developer i would reconsider this sugggestion made by many players across the years just see how great many popular mmo's are going just by releasing a classic version of their game and i'm not talking about the profits which are HUGE.

 

They have already said that the CODE from that far back would be impossible to find this was said in a Twitch stream about a month ago.. A classic server will never happen because BigPoint is about profit.. not nostalgia so having a classic server could bring back some old players the Shop from the classic era will not be profitable being there wasn't really a Cash Shop back in the lvl 40's era so having a classic server would do nothing to the current servers for BigPoint to make profit.. I say just enjoy DSO for what it has become while you can because it is going on 15 years in August not really much more they can do to keep going with a (+%profit margin)..

 

If that's not possible, I'd settle for a "fix" regarding pvp that could make it less unbalanced.
