So ... let us summarize it.
Everything that could be made wrong ... is in a stage of implementing.
Old issues not touched at all and you are building a house based on a ruined foundation.
You don't need a feedback ... you have been given enough feedback to understand that what are you doing with the PvP is just wrong. So why like asking for feedback when you do the things your way ... the wrong way?

Uhm, you really need to rethink this and if you're unclear why, take a stats class.

    DEV NOTE:
Another feature we want to implement is a one level PvP system to improve the matchmaking. That means that we will eliminate the character level for PvP matches and every character will have the same PvP base stats. This allows us to put every Player, regardless of the level, into the same matchmaking pool so there is no division between the different character levels anymore.

Do seasons in pvp? for what? for pride? the improvements that are achieved in the pvp set will be reset in each season? what we do pvp is because we like pvp and I can give (again) to have to farm set for that purpose, but lose it later?
How is that they will eliminate the character level for pairing ????

This was actually a nice surprise to wake up to today. I usually dislike commenting on features before get to see/play them since all my feedback would be based on conjecture, but since that's what you guys are looking for...

    PvP Seasons/Leaderboards
This is a pretty good idea that was also brought up by the community in the Creative Corner recently that I supported. I just hope that seasons don't overlap (or don't overlap too much) with PvE Leaderboards so that people can actually participate in both. There is one thing I am wondering though, (and perhaps I am outdated since I haven't actively PvP'd since this disaster of base stats PvP got implemented): how is your new leaderboard going to take into account mentor bonus, guild bonus, pvp tree bonus? Just because someone can get more honor per match, do they really merit a higher spot on the leaderboard? Or is the leaderboard basically going to be a p2w structure where you buy pvp buffs to reach the top and nothing remotely attached to skill or time spent?

I also appreciate that leaderboards are going to reset with each season. It's silly how players who have quit a long time ago still occupy top positions. Or people like me who achieved their rank years ago and haven't set foot in the arena in the last few months still occupy the top. Leaderboards should be current, or else current + overall.

    Season Progress Bar
    More stuff. Can't complain.

New Matchmaking Screeen/Match Cycle + New Battlegrounds
This is a rather interesting concept. So instead of dividing players by running several battlegrounds at once we'll all be lumped into either solo or group possibilities. I surprisingly support this idea seeing as on Tegan if there's one 5v5 running, all other match types are essentially dead anyways. Can't say much is changing with this addition. xD New Battlegrounds are also welcome... unless they are super buggy with terrain issues. :p

As for the features suggested for Milestones 2 and 3, they are too vague to really comment much on. However, I would like to suggest the devs take into account the pace of combat. I did not like the one-shot meta that I came back to, but I don't like this snail paced PvP that we have right now. Can we please find a happy medium between these extremes?

meh, more reinventing the wheel crap. Nothing here to make me interested in pvp again.

I am particularly wary of this part. It smacks of forcing players into a certain playing style. Additionally. it is ironic that a couple of years ago I supported bringing back stun immunity but now it is going to implemented as a counter to messing up some other skill

What imbalance? You mean the one created by the devs with 214? My main is an RA. The next most played class for me is SW. And yet, I have never had anything negative to say about DK or SM healing skills. It's what they do :p
OK then... for the love of the gaming godz just listen to traki's suggestions

The only good bit here is the new queue and lvl mash-up stuff. But that is only from the point of view of playing on a severely underpopulated server. However, it is likely to do no good if the changes cause even more players to stop doing pvp (or worse yet quit the game altogether.)

//Edit// A final note about special pvp gear. I absolutely hate this idea. I have my pvp gear already. I spent years working on it. And now it is suggested that I play pvp just to get good gear for pvp. No thanks.

    Sounds great. I am excited.

I hope these things will get implemented.
I think it is too early to give a lot of feedback without knowing all the details, but on a concept wise, everything sounds good to me.

Well, i consider pvp to be so bad now, that hardly can be worse.

BUT, this plan of changing pvp by using some special gear only for pvp seems that will almost split for good PVE from PVP, and this sounds like some bad plan to me.

What's wrong with people.. first they cry asking for pvp gear, now they cry about getting it...

Personally, I don't like every PvP gear suggestion. The whole idea needs to die, regardless of who preaches it. I don't wanna waste time working on 2 different sets when it takes years to perfect 1! I don't want to waste gold transferring gems/runes between each set! Heck, i wouldn't even want to fuss if it was free. Why do we need separate PvP gear when same level/tier scaling can be performed on PvE gear?

I cannot comment on the rest of it because there just isn't enough detail.. every good idea can be implemented badly.

PVE storyline, new maps and discovery end at level 55. The only reason anyone would bother playing this game beyond that core content is to improve their PVE gear for PVP. Unless the PVP gear is accessible in PVE maps, you effectively break your game irrevocably.

Anyone playing normal maps over and over and over and over again at painful thru Infernal-whatevs-level is simply playing a math game. Same mobs. Same AI of mobs. Nothing but math in terms of your strength vs environment strength. It's just flat out stupid.

I get your motivation to collapse players levels for a larger combined pool of potential PVP players on ever shrinking player base. I get that. What you dont understand is that introducing low level players into a high player pool creates the potential for a massive exploit.

I haven't commented on these threads in close to 5 years. I moved on but I wanted to offer a huge word of caution to the Dev team if they are listening. Just dont do it. If you want to decrease queue time, you need to do that by the frequently suggested method of allowing server-to-server PVP matches. Do not combine a pool of low levels unless you fully understand your exposure.

considering OP pve gear is the reason why pvp was unbalanced

    https://drakensangonline.fandom.com/wiki/PvP_Gear_and_balance_proposal

This proposal by trakilaki should have been implemented
    It doesn't seem to complex

Also since they plan to put pvp specific gear, why don't they activate gems and runes in pvp?
They already plan to make everyone the same level, which is not good, let us have gems and runes in pvp to have some variation

I think the best way to know how to balance the pvp is to nerd and learn to use the mouse and the keyboard. There will be ever and ever a difference among all classes and their skills that have a typical influence on the battle. The solution isn't to separate pvp and pve, but it is a nice way to choose if I want fight monsters, machine intelligence, or human intelligence. The point isn't if I'm an old or pay player, but the best way to enjoy the game.

but lvl 1-54 can't make royals and blue royals, so thats nonsense.
My opinion about that -- all players with same lvl will totally broke game.
    Im 99% sure...
If you don't need farm for PvP, then 95% of content in this game will become useless (cities (you need only 1st map from tutorial to play arena), exp & lvl, dungeons (regular & events & secret lairs), PW, any currency including GoP (except PvP badges), wisdom & group talents, (YES) game lore (story & achievements & quests), runes, gems, mobs, NPCs, tiers & difficults, uniques and more), devs just multiply all their effort by 0.
Vice versa, if 55lvl end-game char with No rank will have advantages against lvl 1 No rank, then lvl 1 chars on this arena will be like lvl 50-54 on lvl 55 arena (now&before) -- just trash, which can't even help team...

Battleground cycle? (schedule for playing battlegrounds (e.g.: 5v5 flag from 12:00 to 14:00, 3v3 tdm from 14:00 to 16:00 etc.), if I get it right)
Pff... That mean that I will play only when there will be battleground that I wanna play (e.g. only 5v5 flag and/or only 3v3 tdm etc)... So if I wanna play only 1 battleground from 6 existing, then you will lost 5/6 of my online time. Nice solution, congrats!

Even now such things as PvP-mark, open PvP arena and PvP server/-s are useless, 'cause on devs opinion PvP with PvE stats is "bRoKEn oNE sHoT", sOooOO lets delete them. Really, why not... The best way to solve any problem -- just delete.

Also don't understand about "imbalance" of "healing" of DK and SM. As far as I know dwarves and DKs have healing instead of their short attack range.

Only one PvP skill bar, but what if some players are using 2 skillbars for PvP?

I was going to like your post... but your last sentence drew me away from that.

Theoretical short attack range of DKs is already compensated by the various way to catch the opponent, such as running speed buffs, stuns and jumps, and by higher defence. Now, in reality, half of the DK skills are ranged and another quarter is compensating for the range being shorter than the of mage's or ranger's skills, with it being high enough for it to be easy to get in that distance to the opponent.
total 4 typical melee skills: RA, Smash, RS, IB
total 8 higher-range skills: BWS, Jump, GB, Charge, MWS, BoW (2p. and 3p. talent, can be left behind), FotD (can be left behind), Outburst (5p. talent)
total 2 pure-buff skills: FBC, DH
    (total 14 skills)
among those, a total of 11 skills that compensate for "short" range: RS (3p. talent), BWS (3p. talent), Jump, GB (stun, "exploding thrown axe"), FBC (running buff), IB (stun+armor break), Charge (almost insta ranged stun), MWS (5p. talent = heal), DH, FotD (slow, stun), Outburst (3p. talent = immense healing)
Only 3 (RA, Smash, BoW) of the DK skills don't compensate straight out for the "short" range, among which one (BoW) is kind of ranged itself.

Breaking player effort is one bad thing in this new "gearless" PvP... giving lvl1 characters all the skills from the exp tree in the very begin is another (utterly stupid) thing... DKs ruling the arena all over, virtually immortal, is one more thing that simply breaks it. It takes 4 similar-strength people of the 3 other classes to take down one 1h DK that knows what he is doing.
And one another thing are the exploits all over the arena... I think we have already explained what this is about.
I'm not sure if this is what Tregs meant as well, but anyways: even if you start to ban the people who exploit on the arenas, they will be able to return straight off, and exploit again on lvl1, breaking the arena even more. They don't need equipment for their bugs, they can as well kill everyone while being naked. The whole point of equipment for them is hiding their bugs under the cover of the equipment.
And this is one of the Dev accounts that serves as a claqueur to their ideas.
    And this is a noob.
