I have the Deluxe membership from 3-day trial. Deluxe membership buff effect states "No experience gained from completing quests. 20.00% more experience points when defeating enemies" . Deluxe membership icon mouseover and shop entries says "20% more experience when defeating opponents and completing tasks". Why is there no XP from quests?

Hello @Sharakai and welcome to the forums!

You still receive the allotted experience from quests with or without deluxe premium. There is no experience penalty. The deluxe experience bonus of 20% does not apply to the experience gained from quests.

    Cheers,
    Anyki

ok, thank you for clearing that up. The wording on the buff makes it easy to misunderstand. A follow-up question then: what does the deluxe bonus mean by "completing tasks" as tasks does not refer to quests ?

Regular premium is giving you 10% more XP from quests.
Deluxe premium is giving you 20% more XP from quests.
The addition is calculated in the quest's reward.
You can see the difference in the XP points between non-premium player, premium player and deluxe premium player ... in these three screenshots.

Ah so the bonus is put in the xp reward itself. Thank you.
