    Yeah man, it takes time and effort to farm them drakens. So I admit, it's not that easy to buy the uniques. It would definitely be totally crazy if the merchant offered the stuff for andermant. I bet this option was on the table until someone sensible from the dev team dumped the idea.

    The thing is, people can just say: You know, you don't have to buy the stuff if it destroys the immersion of the game for you, just wait till you drop it.
    But we all know how hard it is to play an online game in like a 100% legit way - in this case with 100% reliance on a drop - while others just do it the easier way. You willingly go the hard way, thus willingly harming yourself. So you adapt and just buy the stuff. Turns out it's pointless to resist.

    I'm not so glad there are all these materi/draken merchants, but I agree with sargon that in order to purchase the uniques, you still need to farm a lot of materi or drakens. So you know, it's not without any work.

    On the other hand it's still not ideal. There are players who can hardly stay alive in painful PW or painful anything, but then they go with a strong group and purchase a tier 4 or 5 gear. It feels like these players just don't deserve carrying such powerful gear. It's similar to level 15s running around in expensive costumes and stuff. It's like the whole idea of gradually getting stronger and gradually being able to afford more and more interesting pets and all sorts of things is getting dissolved.
    There's a possible way to prevent such people who are still on the hardly painful level from getting the strongest stuff, and that is the player who doesn't engage enough in the boss fight, doesn't get the drop, nor gets the merchant.​

    But we kinda have to adapt, I guess. Next time I'm not making the same mistake - I'm gonna farm materi / draken and join a strong group to get the highest tiers possible. I don't like this, somehow it's just not right, but the game just pushes you this way.

    Do not even argue with that, he should be ignored, he doesn't argue from an objective standpoint, he argues from emotion, not reason, that's the premise, we can discard and ignore his post, it doesn' t have any value, it's like a creationist trying to argue science and disprove evolution. He pretty much said he's a new player,so he didn't experience the hell that was this game when there was no vendor, so he doesn't know what he's talking about.You can ignore him, and discuss with those who actually bring arguments, not with those who bring feelings. And like with creationists, his opinion can be debunked in every possibile way, by showing evidence of how it works
    And let's just ignore the selfishness of his post, that is the cherry on top of the cake

    I don't have any problem with newbies getting carried, it's the decision of those who carry. It's good that such an option exists, it's useful for guilds, to make new players stronger and more indipendent.My guild decided to carry many warriors to have them drop heredur set, to get them stronger and make them ready to tank high difficulties.But what makes the difference is crafting, not uniques, a good leggendary can surpass every unique in strenght
    Also, if people who get carried to buy are undeserving of the unique,then those who drop are even more underserving logically

    The logic that DSO seems to follow is "No good deed goes unpunished".

    The players used to complain that there was entirely too much randomness in drop rates. This was true. Some players got lucky and others did not.

    So DSO decided to "sell" the drops instead.

    Now this sounded good on paper, however because items are now for sale, the drop rate was lowered and even in some cases removed for a while (tier 1 as an example).

    Personally I wish that the drop rate were increased and for those working hard to farm materi frags, the bought items could have "some" of the pure random stats tightened up just a little.

    If a player is going to work hard for the materi frags to buy something, that something should not be completely random in stats.

    I'm not saying that these items need to be perfect or all the random taken away, just tightened up a bit. Then leave the pure random stats (as they are now) for the dropped items.

    That way it would reward the hard core players who put more effort into farming, and still allow some luck for those who casually farm bosses.

    Honestly i find that the drop rates are the same as before, maybe even higher, because now i did drop some uniques from the bosses in PWs

    That is where the random number generator comes in, because I haven't had a boss unique drop in months. I'm farming heavy for materi frags because of this. I've come to expect long periods of bad luck, which is why the "buying" part is okay with me, but I still feel the drop rate needs to be improved a bit. Not dramatically as players would be too happy, just some adjustment in the rng.

    This is a good step. Asar is not an easy boss to kill. An average player like myself cannot solo Asar in painful mode. It needs a group, but it doesn't need keys. Which is great. I would probably not do this event, if we had to farm keys. I feel it is pointless to farm keys and then again kill the bosses. Too much work. It wouldn't feel like playing a game, but doing work. I hope they will not go back to how it was but perhaps even improve this.
    By improvements I would like to see the rewards gets more distributed in the reward progress bar.

    Asar is not that difficult, there are far more difficult bosses out here

    Newbies can complete the event as it is now, they can farm the keys in advance
    They can find a guild to help them

    Not all of us fam 13/24 to get fragments to buy them , we try our luck at the bosses, we wait first item to drop and after we buy the second one because to gather fragments for one items it take about one week if is a weapon that cost 90k+. Go in arena and see if your almost perfect items can make you win every time because is a black bear at shop if you have 20kk badges from arena maybe you would like that challenge.
    For me the fun is in arena not in killing computer animated monsters with the same behavior every time, and loot.
    So let them be, i dont like the game became again endless farm on that boss that can drop your weapon that you need like was Khalys before.

    For me PvE is just a way to make my build for arena nothing more, what it can be fun to kill a boss many time....

    On topic , i woul like events to be easy and rewarding as possible not endless grinding for some bad loot, and if you can buy event uniques why not, i dont like to wait one month or one year to have a chance to get them.
    Maybe after they put on table more types of builds it will be more fun to try them, anyway Q sets don't have so much use anymore.
    If they will keep ashar to drop badges maybe i will do the event too ,if i will have to farm key for that i think i;ll pass.

    If you kill ... and it is not a computer animation you get 25 to life.

    I prefer to kill animated characters by humans.

    BTW - mage from full moon event has vanish? How about runes for 2h? how we can get 2h runes anymore?

    i will not lose, andermant, gold, frags, and hours of farming to get ¨nothing¨ why did u put 1M progress bar? do u think that we will spend hours and hours for nothing¿ cmon, i will not leave q1mod1 for nothing in the world:)) We need short events(3-5days).... not imposible events:)))comn guys u can do it better than that.

    Who told you the Bloodmage is gone?
    I have killed the Bloodmage and made a screenshot from the shop (otherwise how would you open the shop?)
    I wasn't gonna play Asar anyway ... even if the access was free.
    He is Hardest boss to kill ... it is like killing Mortis in Fatal. and the most important thing is ... his drop is crap. All the other bosses have 1000x better drop (badges are the same for all).

    I think it's especially because the logic behind it: Locations with direct access to a boss are locked, but locations with indirect access are not. By indirect access I mean that you have to go through a map full of monsters where at the end there's a boss without a loading screen. I suppose if Bearach and Arachna don't require a key currently, M'edusa should be the same case(?)

    I expected Asar to get locked eventually. But I hope the three I listed above will have free access because of the logic that I think there is.

    The Jewels of the Desert set is not bad - well, it depends how developed your character is at the time, right?
    The difficulty may be quite subjective. I can't solo kill Sharr Kharab for instance. I tried to kill Nefertari the Temptress and got 1 hit killed before I could do anything.

    End game players don't need jewels of the desert

    I heard that arachna is not dropping badges, but this is unconfirmed, i don't know if this is true or not

    The Djinn is not harder it just takes longer ... while with Asar one wrong move can mean certain death.
    The Closed Chamber is a boss dungeon ... the other 3 are not.
    Those "Jewels" are not so shiny ... they are only for beginners. By the time they get full set they will probably be at the next level so they won't need it. XD
    However ... by "drop" I was talking about the drop itself not the unique items you can get there.
    Take a look and compare
    1. Asar
    2. Other bosses
    It is not a coincidence or by chance ... you can actually get even better drops with the other bosses ... while in the closed chamber the drops are pretty much the same ^ crap.

    You and many others here keep forgetting not every end game player is covered in tier 5 Dragan and tier 5 Q sets with transfered legendaries. Of course such players don't need Jewels. But it's also not just the beginners who may find them useful.

    If that is the case, the event is unplayable. (No matter how 'fast' it is to get keys in the HQ map).

    That's what I meant.

    you can already farm keys, you just need to be think long term
    Hell, if the drop values are the same as the recent one( you can find on the wiki), you can pretty easily finish the event on painful, without having to farm so many keys( my crude estimate gives 400 keys, but it doesn't account every variable, take this resoult with a grain of salt)

    Even those players who have farmed a little, did a bit of events don't need it. Pw items are better and you can use them uncrafted
    That's a shame,but that's another discussion

    So sharr kharab is easier, i didn't play them in fatal, maybe my idea is skewed by the fact that until recently, sharr kharab was only avaible in excruciating while asar in normal
