Fragments of Infernal Passage now come in tiers:
The current ones are white (grey) and will still used to enter inf4 (140).
New green ones will be findable in inf4 and required for inf5 (50, presumably).
New blue ones will be findable in inf5 and required for inf6 (100, presumably).
New purple ones will be findable in inf6 and required for inf7 (200, presumably).
There are no legendary ones at the moment.
The new fragments were added to the ghosts' shops in Cardhun (for materi and andermants) and to Gnob in Kingshill.

    New essences added:
    • Fire, Ice, Poison and Lightning - deal additional damage of their respective element with every attack (25% to 300% of basic skill damage). They come in 5 rarities, from white to red.
    • Andermagic - deals additional andermagic damage to the enemies (25% to 300% of basic skill damage) AND deals 5% of damage you caused to you (or your minion). It's like lifesteal, but backwards. Also, it comes in 5 rarities, from white to red.

    New resources added:
    • 5 kinds of elemental spheres (one for each element). 10 of one of them can be used on workbench to upgrade 1k of regular essence of vigor into 1k of respective type of the new essence. Obtainable in the new edition of the Desert of Essences event. It's in the event section of the Ingredients Bag.
    • "Carmot" - used to upgrade essence tier, both for the normal essences of vigor and the new elemental types. Obtainable in the new edition of the Desert of Essences event. It's in the event section of the Ingredients Bag.
    • "Crystal dew" - something related to the new edition of the said event.
    "Keys Bag":
Actually, it's a new section in the Ingredients Bag. It stores various entry items and most of other event crap:
    • Lockpicks
    • Keys of Prowess
    • Lor'Tac restricted area keys
    • Fragments of Infernal Passage (all tiers)
    • Secret Lairs' Offerings
    • Amphora keys
    • Vials of Werewolf Blood
    • Fairy Wood
    • New Moon Scrolls
    • (mentioned above) Crystal Dew
    • Keys of Defeat and Keys of the Fearless
    • both normal and Empowered Cursed Pearls
    • Spring Dawn Dust
    • both normal and Golden Piniata Truncheons
    • Egg Openers
    • Sewer Keys and Valves of the Castle's Sewer
    • Levers and Drill Heads
    • Sophia's Remedies
    • Ghost Fire and Life Force
    • Sugar Beets
    • Phestos Coins
    • Solstice Logs
    • Professor Jullov's Oiltastic Mixtures
    New costumes:
    • White Essence Vortex
    • Black Essence Vortex
    New pets:
    • White Essence Sprout
    • Black Essence Sprout
    • the Automatons category now has 9 pets, but a new reward was added for having 10 (250 draken cores). Perhaps more are on the way?
    New difficulties:
Clearly preparations have been made made for inf 5, 6 and 7. However, no new difficulties are available for now.

Only the Sewers event is running, not even a trace of Spring Festival or Desert of Essences for now.

End of changes, personal feedback below.

    My feedback:
    1. We've said here what we think about the new infernal modes. They're going for it anyways. Very bad. PvP is going to get broken further. We're waiting for the PvP update then.
    2. Why are there no new buffs "to every pet"? New pets are being added in all categories, we're receiving lots of crap like drakens, cores, etc... but no buffs (except for the andermant one in the p2w category) and nothing really unique either.
    3. Some stuff that should be in the Ingredient Bag is not there. Namely, the stuff to upgrade the Silver Essence. Wolfsbane, Silver pebbles and Vargulf's claws. They should be there in the event section. Also, it'd be nice if Jon Sunlair gave us the first batch of essence AND the recipe to craft it when we turn in the quest that shouldn't be repeatable.
    4. Ports to bosses and other areas are not in the "Key Bag". They should be or they should get their own bag.
    5. With lots of new essence types incoming, an essence bag is a must.

this game has become boring without end. Why should I spend money? we have fragments and keys to everything. if I want to make a boss or an event I must first lose hours and hours to make the entries. now they offer us another type of fragment inf 5, 6, 7 at high costs, but why? high costs and inability to make objects on the workbench, horrible pvp, boring maps made thousands of times. the signs are all there the game is dead

The colors of the passages for inf4567 (white, green, blue, purple) make me think that one day it will come out lev 60 with orange (inf8) and yellow (inf9) passages.

I think they are probably going to introduce special and leggendary royal gems and jewels.

From the video just seen inf7 is a difficulty that must never be done by anyone. It was probably created to make sure that nobody can say that the game is extremely easy, even the entry costs are very high.
Surely no new liv 55 will ever be able to access this difficulty by asking in chat "inf7 need good Damage, fast come".
As for me there is no problem they can also create inf8 and bring to zero the impact value that I am happy to play in inf5.

It being unintentional fixes barely anything wrong about infernals.

Good luck with fragments farming - your materi is made irrelevant when they are added.

There are countless things wrong with adding more infernals but I cba listing them over and over and over again - enjoy your 150k dmg that changes literally nothing for you.

I just hope they finally remove the boss hp cap so people wanting more infernals feel their own stupidity.

Khalys at the moment has 7.5 times LESS hp than she's supposed to on inf4 5 man. Inf7 prolly close to 15 times. God I hope they fix the boss hp cap.

The same thing was said about inf4, in the end it was not so bad, I do not understand the complaints, when most events do them in a painful-lethal way. the update of hell is for those of us who have been in inf 3.4 for a long time.

No, no. He's got a point.

It will be hard for about 5 hours when people will be crafting their golden base + plat enchants cloak, deco and weapon - flawless design!

Maybe 1 day if we get legendary jewels as well :)

The point is who are those people who will get what you said in 5 hours of playing... ,, tell it to the bees'' to quote a movie title ...

The people who do nothing else then eat sleep and play this unworthy game
I like being in i3-4 and i never asked for i4 only thing i feel it brought is imbalance and stupidity as the balance is all over the place since then.
Also i don´t have 6-12h of free time as some others do therefore im quite happy with the current game state aaaand about lethal-painful that´s a problem since that inf4 of yours which you call out as the most stellar, awesome apex in the whole universe.

Well it wasn't and isn't that bad because of hp cap on bosses. However if they introducing even further infernal modes that cap probably will be removed as otherwise bosses on inf V would have same hp as bosses on inf IV which gonna result as Ranja nicely pointed out in couple times more hp on inf IV, not to mention inf V. Right now every player who goes on inf IV is kinda exploating a bug with bosses being weaker that they should be.

Besides that if cap lvl going to increase in some near future every char gonna be weakened by natural process. How on earth you imagine grinding inf V with normally increased difficulty + 5xtimes more hp on bosses due to cap removal + naturally weakened chars with 60 lvl...
It's gonna be tedious to no limits. Also if they introduce inf V and higher before lvl 60 most of players logs in only at events as what is the point of making super tedious grind if in half year your gear will get semiuseless? There is no point at all unless you are really nolifer.

Introducing higher infernals would be fine if they do some balances on bosses with respective removing cap AND there is no 60 lvl planned in near future. Otherwise it's futile and will result in overall disconent up to losing player base.

the game is good, it has its ups and downs, if they played it smart they would not be bitter with all the updates and events. it is better to go slow but safe in the game, 1 or 2 hours per day is enough, without picking up green, blue, purple objects (it all depends on how far your character goes, they will not try to do an entire event when you can only walk in normal or painful and with the brain destroyed). They would find a group quickly, if at least they knew how to use their characters, and not just using left click and right click to collect items. because they worry about the new infernal if they still can't do inf2-3-4 individually, at least they will have the option to enter those infernal to open chests with picks and hopefully get 10th grade uniques, unless They make the mistake of a lot of new players and they venture out with their 30,000 damage in inf 7 and start farming, which is a rookie mistake.

How the damn are they going to do that? The new infernals require special passage fragments that are unreachable themselves for a weak player, and even if they obtain them, it's not worth it to waste them just to open a few chests.

Ah, now I understand you :D
You're playing 2 hours every day and for the remaining 22 hours you're running a bot, am I right?

Either I dont understand you or you missed my sarcasm entirely. Read my previous message.

They dont have to GET it in 5h - they ALREADY have it. They only thing to do is just augment 3 items up to tier 10 which is easily doable in few hours at most. If we're adding legendary jewels to the equations as well it will be maybe a day worth of playing and woo hoo welcome 150k damage / 80% inf7.

The game is NOT good. If it was good you wouldn't see a decline in the game's population. You are just lying to yourself or living in an echo chamber where the only thing you hear is "game is good". My bet is the latter one.

I started playing this game in june 2011 when i was invited to the closed beta and I followed the game since then. I had some minor breaks but I can say with all the confidence that I easily spent 10000 - 15000 hours playing and just recently I gave up. Nothing is changing. Since july last year (discord milestone) and today literally nothing changed for the better (besides inf bars removal but that's just them removing their dumb idea nobody asked for from the game) and little to none of player feedback/ideas were implemented to the game.

Sets are still broken and unbalanced.
Classes are still broken and unbalanced.
    Skills are still broken.
No new content only replaying old stuff with some UPSETTINGLY MINOR CHANGES.
Continuous screwing up of the events (aka this sewers event which is a MAJOR DOWNGRADE).

DSO is only about events since YEARS and each event is just:

    - grind this map till you vomit
    - then grind this map till you vomit
    - now to top this off grind boss 300 times and you'll vomit once again
    - congratulations! you got some rng rewards (nowadays you get rng royals, some get royal cyanite, some get royal ruby and they put the exact same amount of time to get it - very fair!)

This is not fun, this is not healthy, this is not GOOD. But you won't know until you leave the echo chamber and see for yourself how OTHER MAINSTREAM TITLES are handling stuff like that. DSO being managed by a small group of people IS NOT an excuse for an absolute lack of content and understanding the game needs. There are many indie titles that are managed 100000000 times better and you know why? Cause developers are passionate about their game. DSO developers aren't passionate about DSO, not anymore.

The game needs much more than 2 new quests (if there are any) and key scaling changes (that btw screwed literally everybody who didn't abuse gleaming mountains bug before the previous event). The game needs more skills, more balance changes, more competitive (in context of competing with other sets) sets and items (and not just belts, amulets, rings and weapon adornments since they are easy to mass produce ...). The game needs a tremendous amount of work, effort and passion.

Realistically looking at the game barely ANYTHING changed in the past 2 to 3 years - what we all were given is an illusion of progression, illusion of changes.

I had a direct contact with some of the developers and if I'd post their replies your hair would literally fall off while you read them and their arguments. And that's developers (game designers) we're talking about not some random people - they, of all the people, should know the game INSIDE OUT.
