Regarding rangers explosive arrow

    Hello Bigpoint! Are there any plans for making explosive arrow explode in walls again? And sometimes it hits the player and no explosion. Another question that i have will the range of net be increased? Thx in advance for your answer!

    Welcome to EN Forum :) We are glad to see you posting here.

    For now, Explosive Arrow is working as intended and it's not planned any change regarding skills. According to the official answer, it was supposed to explode when hitting objects or enemies but every skill has a lifetime and when lifetime ran out it exploded no matter if hitting or not... That was a bug and that's why is not exploding when hitting walls (so, now it's fixed - Release 212).

    About your second point, sometimes it doesn't explode. We just have to test if it doesn't explode because skill life time ran out before exploding or if it is definitely a bug. Thanks for bringing that topic to us ;)

    About net range, as explained before, there are no planned changes to skills at the moment. Changes were made only for PvP (R212). If you have any suggestion for that skill, feel free to post something in Creative Corner.

    dont forget the range of the "fixed EA"that is shorter than mages' fireball so them can hit/kill you while you still are out of hitting range

    When i use EA and a mob is nerby a wall, object etc sometimes don't explode/work so this is not nice/cool at all... is so hard in pvp EA work in one way and in normal map work in another way, at last in normal map EA work in wall, objects will pe great!!

    Bugpoint pls rename EA to SA SMART ARROW. Only veeeeeeeeeeeeery smart arrow with PC inside can make difference between stone wall & living object. The normal arrows after shooting flight , if don`t hit nothing hit the ground in the end, the contact high explosive head detonate and damage everything in area efect. But this is veeery SMART ARROW ,when SA
    approach wall or ground smart PC cast teleport and wend in other dimension. No explosion , no dmg ,nothingo_O Normally bomb must explode ,if can`t explode this is defect , undasirable and dangerous .

    Thx for the answer Sunlight. I know that pvp is a complicated topic. You tried to make ballance with shortening the range but at least make the ranges of all classes equal. As one of the best rangers ROOK said mage can hit you out of hitting range , dwarfs can snipe too and ranger have small amount of concentration so they throw max 3 ea i think and rely it will hit sth. And also you didnt have to reduce range of the net cause this is a slow stun and also the eagle is almost useless now. For rangers ea at least try to make it to explode in walls and objects and not in the air. If no changes are made rangers will be the worst pvp class again.Hope my feedback is heard :)

    I dont know what you are comparing but traki himself showed picture of all the skills and they were the same , except for a tiny bit on the EA thats all

    Watch the video then.

    Even tho the mage is shoting from a farther place than the ranger, he can hit the training dummy while ranger can't.
    If this isn't a proof idk what it is then.

    On the other hand, that's in the open arena so skills' range is wider compared to PvP = same as PvE, where, as you said, both classes have basically the same range.

    It's what I said.

    My concern is about the place.

    We all agree that in PvP the class with higher range is SM, while Ranger and SW are even.

    In the video you can see that @ROOK is in Kingshill open arena (not the 3v3 map) and judging by the range of the skills I assume that it works like in PvE maps.

    So, playing PvE SW has skills with higher range than Ranger.
    But it is just for the sake of facts... IMHO it can stay as it is.

    It is not working as intended and they don't know what else to say.
    They are not capable of fixing the skill just like they were not able to fix the most beautiful game animation ... the Gorgon Stun. So what did they do? They made new lousy, amateur, ugly animation because they couldn't fix the old one. So they did the same with EA.

    Sorry but I don't see RA and SW as even in pvp. There are at least several SWs who can shoot you "afar from the screen" when RA shoots and there's no effect upon the target. No to mention the SM who tends to be uncontrollable...
    But coming back to the pve aspect: the EA isn't working properly and it was reported several times to BP, but still they only care when players cry for nerf of this skill.
