As stated in the " Shadow Souls x Riot of the Rocketman - FAQ":

Blade Sentinel can be obtained through a quest:

• Accept a quest “All Things Bright and Soulful” from Matthew Allthings in Kingshill
• Collect specific Echo Shards and complete the quest

Can't find this quest, is the a bug or mistake?

They should have stated that in the FAQ

 

There is an active bug (4321) in the free cape of the 3-hour mission, which gives double rewards and is currently being exploited by players.
The issue remains unresolved, creating a serious imbalance in the game.
According to the rules, exploiting bugs is not allowed and appropriate actions should be taken, especially considering that in the past bans were applied for far less and without a bug.
Additionally, it would be beneficial if messages reporting genuine issues were not deleted, so there is transparency and proper community awareness.
We are awaiting official information on the fix and how this situation will be handled.

 

That happens quite often here in DSO: one player gets everything, another gets very little.
I don't get that kind of bug either, but the players you're talking about do.
So, DSO team, bring on that compensation, not individually, but for everyone.
