thinclient.exe failure to install

    The game is requiring that I update to the new client, but when try to install it, it crashes when trying to install the thinclient.exe file. "Ignore" makes the game unplayable as the link crashes every time, and "Abort" of course stops the install. What gives? and how do I fix this?

    Hello @dufum2017, and welcome to the EN forums!, for starters I'd suggest you have a look at our forum rules to get familiar with the place. ;)

    As for your issue, we can try a couple of things, as a first measure, I'd suggest you uninstall DSO completely and clear your DSO temp folder, after that, perform a fresh install, please try it out and let us know the results, best regards. ;)

    Make sure you are administrator and check the firewall/antivirus settings.

    i am having an issure where i downloaded the client from https://heredur.drakensang.com/en/welcome and when i launch the game it says new installer available. i hit ok it says its installed do i want to launch game, i hit yes and it tells me "unable to verify signature of downloaded file" and it closes.
