    Hello,

I know wording is not always flawless so here are a few wording mistakes that could maybe be corrected.

    > Jewel of contribution doesn't work on group members, IT WORKS ON ALLIES.
For example it works on guardian / turrets / wolves even when you are solo

    > Jewel of rage and contribution effect does not have a 15% chance to trigger when you deal dmg. Indeed they have a 15% chance of triggering WHEN YOU USE A SKILL (exemple in map where you can't deal dmg without specific essences you can trigger those without using specific essences)

    > A bigger issue I feel, with the new essences.
It is written "deal x% of your skill base dmg as elemental dmg".
However what it really does is "DEAL x% OF YOUR SKILL DMG AS ELEMENTAL DMG"
It's a pretty big difference because the essence bonus dmg is not calculated on the dmg before applying resistance / armrore, it is calculated on the dmg after applying those resistances.

Example: (those are not real numbers, just an example)
    I'm a mage hitting sigrismarr.
My frozen sphere base dmg is 50k (ice dmg)
My fireball base dmg is 30k (fire dmg)
If I send a frozen sphere, I only do 15k because of the high ice resistance
If I send a fireball, i do 25k because of the low fire resistance

Now with red elemental (+300% skill dmg as fire dmg)
My frozen sphere deals 15k + 45k fire dmg =35k added dmg
    My fireball deals 25k + 75k fire dmg = 60k added dmg

If the essence really did +300% skill BASE dmg
My frozen sphere would deal 15k + 150k fire dmg = 120k added dmg
My fireball would deal 25k + 90k fire dmg = 72k added dmg

As you see it's a pretty huge difference.
I suggest you remove the "BASE" in your essence description since obviously it doesn't increase "BASE" skill dmg, but just skill dmg

Is skill base damage because elemental essences don't consider talents; you have to take in count only skill damage without any talent.
E.g. A war has the smash (200% base damage as base skill damage) with the 5 points talent, so you read in the skill info 240% base damage. If you use the elemental essences you deal the 300% of the skill base damage (200%) not the 300% of the talented one (240%)...and this is tested.
More, the essence with 100%, 200% and 300% deal another 25% of damage (perhaps a bug, because there's no reason for this additional damage) so we have that the essences deal 125%, 225% and 325% of skill base damage.

Oh, ok thanks a lot for the explanation.

Just to check if I understood correctly:
For an ice sphere, it will count 60% dmg for travel time + 200% (and not 350%) from explosion.
So if I have red elemental lightning for example and 20k base dmg a sphere will deal:
    20k x 4,1 = 84k ice dmg
    20k x 2,6 x 3,25 = 169k lightning dmg

How does it work with double fireballs from herald cloak?
Does it count one fireball or two ?
(and if two are they counted as reduced dmg fireball or usual fireballs)

Thanks a lot for the answer

As you can see I play a war, and only a war... I'm testing set bonus for that class, I don't know how it works for a SW, sorry
Your calc seems right to me ;)

I tested in arena with only the herald cloak :
you have 2 fireballs reduced dmg as it is written about the skill
