Honestly I haven't seen a trapezoid jem drop from any Blood maps for any events or reg PW maps.. your trapezoids are going to drop from the premium cubes.. I get them about 1 out of 10 cubes..as far as them dropping from this event it's not going to happen.. this was the bug that happened the last time this event was active.. high gems was dropping at outrageous amounts.. so the new DTU has eliminated that so don't count on any jems of the trapezoid of higher dropping..

This is a prime example of Mandela Effect.
False memory that never happened.

Trapezoid gems drop rarely but they do drop.
There has never been exploit or a bug with this event last time it was running.
The drop was equivalent to the drop of the other bosses in the game.
The event was running after the "Dark Crap" expansion and not all players were at at cap level yet and most of those at level 100 were weak. And , like every time there is a new content in the game ... the drops are raining at first so more players would play more ... and then suddenly the valve tightens and the drops are getting nerfed down.

They announced that back then ... few years ago. Then they said ... "OK, because of the player's backlash we are not going to make any changes and we will leave the drop as it is."
... and they "like didn't change anything" ... but they never run the event again for more than two years ... until now.

For older players like you they probably go into the dust making machine ... but for those who are getting them for the first time they can be equipped with the jewel trinket.
If that was the question.

 

Its a mandela effect when many people share that false/twisted memory.


And no, I meant where the jewel drop. Mine got deleted during CE and they never gave them back ^^ I thought they dropped from the fearless chests, but I didn't see them drop.

 

Rewind the past 2+ years and count all the claims.

Devs how can you mess up shop for real money? Website doesn't have all ingame offers and shop popup window from client hasn't been working for years now. And it's not the first time some special event offers were only available in game where you simply couldn't get to buy them.
So even if I was willing to open my wallet for them, I simply have no way to do so

 

On DTU: I'm finally strong enough to run Bloodshed, so getting through the event took less than 50 runs. I had planned on grinding for the Nian Beast pet, though I'm wary of the vague "increased item drop from worthy monsters" benefit (increased from 0.01% to 0.015%?).

However, drop rate of Feather of a Gryphon and Newborn Heart pet ingredients is perhaps 1 each every 4 Bloodshed runs, and we need 300 of each to craft Nian Beast ... meaning I'd need to make ~1,000 runs (even after buying the max 60 Feathers from Grima using Draken).

I'll do a few runs on Painful through Excruciating to see what the drop rate for Feathers & Hearts is at those lower, less expensive (time and entry fees) difficulties, but will probably give up.

Unless the devs suddenly opt to offer this event every 3 months, I will likely never grind enough to build that pet.

EDIT: Reading other posts on this subject, I now know I can buy unlimited Feathers & Hearts from Gnob (in addition to the limited amount offered by Grima), albeit at an excessively high price (Gnob sells at 18x the cost of Grima).
