    Dear Bigpoint team,

I really like the work you all have done on these new events, it is really cool to see how this game is expending, however, there are still improvements to be made. As fun as the current events are, the game needs more, and I think I have just what it would take to bring out the true fun in this game.

First of all, an event list with details on upcoming events as well as current events, is needed. Whether it is automatically or manually updated, does not matter.

Second of all, the events only happen once in awhile, which is nice, but those gaps in time need to be filled. I think the best thing you could do for this game is make daily events.

Maybe like a world boss that spawns in an easily accessible area inside each city. This boss would not be hard to get to, and would not require a squad to kill. Instead you would just walk a few steps through the doorway to see 50 other players fighting him right there. The health points should be somewhere in the millions (maybe 20-40 million health points). The loot would be a little more generous then fighting a regular Unique boss, since it would take about 25-45 minutes to kill, if not longer. Any player of any level could participate, but of course the stronger you are the more likely you would be to survive.

How cool would it be to see 50 people fighting one boss? It would be better then seeing all those 50 people sitting in the city all day.

Thank you very much for your time, and thank you for all these new features I am enjoying the game so far.

    Regards,

I don't think, that this is a good idea when its implemented exactly like you said.
Everyone would go in that city and the server for the city would be down for the whole fight. Another point is, that many people aren't able to go on at several times. So it would be unfair for those who work from morning to eveningo or go to school in the afternoon/early evening.
Another point is, that you get ported back to the city after die.->the spellweavers would only run in, get killed and explode because the exploding doesn't cost any essences the fight would be over after 50 seconds, if there are some mages with a high pvp level.

I think it would be a better idea making the boss callable in an open world(long running way after exploding, seeking boss thakes longer->no server downs), with an immunity for essences, so that the fight is not that easy and short. Another good point of this variation is, that the players, waiting for pvp matches don't get nerved by the boss.

Well it already is completely unfair to people who work due to the fact that you have to sit there grinding the same event for days straight just to complete some of them. The daily events I'm thinking about, wouldn't be the same as these monthly events where you have to collect items to complete the event. You would be able to enter at your own pace and it would be for epic loot (of course at a cost)

Ever played World Of Warcraft? I havn't, but I watched a friend play and it looked amazing when 20 or so people were fighting the one boss, and I think there's a good reason why that company is so successful aswell.

This sounds good but I have no idea how big that unique boss would be when 50 players fight together. When I play PW quests, it's a little crowded for 3 DKs/melee RGs to hit a single small foe. Every player is not penetrated/transparent, there is collision between players/foes. The unique boss must be reachable for every one who fights there.

A reason why DSO is good because there is no annoying daily event. Daily quest is good enough. People from different places have different time zones. Daily events in other games just trying to get people active and is just a plain waste of time.

More frequent events=less time spent on more important things, more bugs, and things get old fast. I'd prefer giving the dev's time to come up with something great, rather than just cranking out content constantly.

This game is not that kind of game, 50 players vs 1 Boss, if you want something like that you can experience it somewhere else, there are many games with that kind of Raid Bosses. :) Genre of this game is different.

So just curious. Atlantis above water and these new areas were a good use of data? What about having to find a squad every time for these events and bosses? The idea was simply to defeat the waste of time of having to find a squad or party and to enter at your own leisure, as this event would run year long for anyone of any level to enter.

Geobli makes a good point, but why not have a little something for everyone? Some people might hate it, some people might love it...

    Also this event
Last thing, the current events get old after the first time you complete them. In fact I don't think you can even do an event again once you've finished can you? What's the point of that? Seems like a huge waste of data to me, as much as I love doing them.

Wouldn't have to be 50 players ;). I like to exaggerate hehe, but this boss would be freaking huge if it existed. Ya we would need some space lol, but mages and rangers attack from a distance just like in any other game with raid bosses, so it really wouldn't be a problem, and I think it would be really easy for devs to come up with something like this, as it's been done already on other games like Geobli mentioned.

Of course you can do it again. The only downside is when they completely copy/paste the events and you get the same rewards. You still get Draken though which is nice I guess.

I solo'd this as a dwarf with crappy gear. If you need a group for it, that sounds more like a personal problem.

Man, you mis-understood me again, as I might have made that statement a little confusing by tying them together. I meant that Atlantis Above Water was a waste of data (why would I care to solo this when I can solo any other area?)... I didn't mean that it was a problem having to find a squad for these areas. I was referring to the current events that cycle through out the year. You NEED a team for those Events... See what I'm saying now? I'm really not sure you actually understand any of my reply or any of this idea, but whatever your opinion is your opinion in the end, and if your not open to suggestion, then you might never be able to find any fun in any game, as trying new things is the key to learning, and having fun isn't it?

edit. P.S. now that I think about it. YES this new area they've released has actually left many people spamming the chat near Gorga asking for parties for these new areas... Maybe you should really check your facts before you try to lay them down Brian. pretty unbelievable. I'd rather that data have been used for something I could constantly repeat over the years. Not something I could complete in a matter of days........... At least it wouldn't flood the chat with pointless spam that nobody would be interested in anyway. I don't care if you can solo this area with a dwarf in crappy gear, because that just means that place is even easier and more boring for US HIGHER level players, thankyou very much... And it just means that you aren't properly geared to enjoy the rest of the game and it's areas which render this area completely useless to US HIGHER level players. Enjoy your couple of days of fun buds maybe you will then realize how boring it actually gets, and how it's basically a copy of every other area that's been made in this game... Hell it even has similar mobs as Q6m2. Lets see you solo that in your crappy dwarf gear ya? Yet alone solo it at all lol. Trying to secretly call me a "newbie" only makes you look like an idiot. Yes your blatantly stupid comment does offend me in some ways, but also lets me express how little you have actually seen in this game so far.

Why yes you can Lol. Kind of a dead give- away wasn't it? hopefully these aren't actually the people Bigpoint are listening too, as I am one who would like to see this company succeed. It seems like most of the player base/ community here would like to see them fail, and I won't lie, but some of the things BP has done has made me want to see them fail (e.g introduction of sacred gems lol) All in all though, I like this game to much...

Prime example of selfishness right there. You need to remember that this game was supposed to be a STEP - UP from older "Java-based browser games". Not the other way around. Most older "Java-based browser games" (I.E. Runescape) had a little bit of everything. So why would we limit it to less then what is currently on the market. Doesn't make much sense does it?

What? :D:D:D:D:D You are annoying. If you can't deal with other people opinions, then stop making threads and participating in the forums. What is selfish about my post? Being realist and not wishing/supporting your idea? I guess you are the selfish one, arguing with everything going against your suggestion, like it is a must for the game. Chill...

They Must Make Event DIfficulty Depend On Player Stats Not On Lvl

It Will Make Possible Complete Events Like Sargon Event And Etc ( With Special Maps) For "Weak" People

What is so selfish about my post dude? this is my first time on these forums to suggest something, while you post the same answer over and over again on multiple ideas that you don't agree with... EDIT The fact that you said it's not that genre of game (which has already been stated by other people before), is implying that you only care about what's best for your needs and maybe some of the people who you associate with. Don't you see how ridiculous that sounds? You don't only come out as selfish, but you sound like a spoiled little child (brat) So if you didn't want to hear what I had to say, then why did you even post here?

The fact is, that having an opinion doesn't mean you need to be open to mine, but if you feel the need to express your point of view, then be prepared for mine, as your answer was quite invalid, and didn't make much sense. Maybe when you stop thinking about yourself and your needs, then you can come back here with something more intelligent to say and to actually contribute to the community, as I see this same answer on a lot of other posts for ideas... EDIT Until then, please refrain from posting until you can think of something smarter to say then what you people already said on these forums already. Maybe also learn to read and then understand what your reading. lol Kiddo :)

I think first off, you need to calm down. This is a discussion, and you're simply turning it into an argument.

The new Atlantis levels weren't made for you high level people. They were made to bring more xp to that area for people who are 37-39 to reduce the constant mind numbing gorga runs that we used to have to do since there just weren't enough quests with xp to get anyone close to 40 in these areas.

And you're still not understanding me when I say that cranking out numerous events that are higher in frequency means they will completely lack in quality. It will be the same ones, copy and paste, again and again with no new content at all. They already tried something similar last year in which they had events all the damn time, and people complained that it was the same exact stuff, same rewards, no changes at all and that they were bored with it.

And since you're getting all bent out of shape, please take notice that I haven't said anything about your ideas being bad, just that ones that are frequent don't work well. So before you go into yet another rage post, why not take a step back for a few minutes and think about it before you type.

This still wouldn't solve the issue, as people with a higher stats level are always there to help you, and the monsters will still be as difficult as the player with highest stats in the group. That being said it would be twice as hard to find a group at the same stat level as you.

Now that I can somewhat agree with, but the same deal here with this map. It's one map with a couple of new monsters and quests. Doesn't really solve the problem does it? People end up having to go to Gorga to farm mass amounts of experience points anyway. So what was so good about this? It's not an end game feature, so it excludes high level play. It has the same mobs as a lot of other areas, and the items here suck badly. So all in all it was a waste of data am I not correct?

Why even throw the noob in there then, even though it was off topic? That is sure to start an argument, as anyone will be offended at that, but it didn't just offend me. It made me think about even more flaws and problems this area has caused for the game. Again BP is listening to the wrong people which is all I'm trying to say.. These new areas aren't so new after all are they? It's all been done my friend. This is why I suggested this as it would be something NEW. We have never seen a boss we could just enter ourselves to see other people already fighting , and we always had to get to a certain level to fight these bosses haven't we? We have always had to find a squad if we couldn't push through the events or areas and bosses ourselves when we WERE noobs. So please tell me what you have in mind, other than more new areas, which would just be harder to develop anyway. There's really not much else is there? Like I said we have to be open to new ideas if we want to come up with anything different, don't we? What did these daily events consist of last year may I ask?

They weren't daily, they were weekly. And it was just repeats of the same stuff we already have, Sargon, Lost truth, only the exact same rewards, no changes at all. And keep in mind, I'm not suggesting new areas. (And actually yes, running the new maps plus the old atlantis quests will spit you out at 40 without days worth of grinding gorga)
What I'm sayinh is for events, they take more time to actually come up with new ideas, new prizes, etc.

As for your idea on a big boss with many players, I think that's something that we can knock around and play with. I actually like the idea, especially some of the red essense suckers like Destructor.

Maybe something we could do is an event that's just waves of enemies. I'm not talking about that nonsense attack on werian event. I mean, you and your party are sent to an arena sort of level, and you just get tons of spawned monsters of varying difficulty. Starts easy, then gets harder as you go up. And say every...5 or so waves you get a boss. It could have it's own leaderboard and rewards, and if people could spectate, that would be cool.
