Fair???>

Just in a PvP match where there were only 4 of us on a team 2 KOTO's and 2 centurions. We were facing a full team of 5 1 field marshall a mardshall and 2 KOTO's. Thought you fixed this problem BigPoint way to go!!!

 

Could it be that these persons were grouped? A lot of people group for CTF.

 

I thought I'd join a 5v5 randomly last night. This is what I got.

 

5v5 is the most unbalanced PvP there is. My ardent legionnaire ranger ALWAYS faces a team with marshals and flag bearers. Complaining about PvP gets us nowhere. It will never be balanced.
Easy fixes:
1. Disallow grouping in PvP
2. Make it just Rank vs Rank at a 10 level difference. May motivate players to level up if they can't win in PvP anymore at a low level. Marshalls may get lonely but then they don't need to be farming Legionnaires for free honor either.

In fact you could make players at Fame Tree level 40+ their own "Best of the Best" PvP match, maybe a last man standing kind of battle with a minimum player count to start and a max so it doesn't turn into 20 Fame Tree level 40's running around in circles trying to mostly stay alive. But then that would be hilarious to watch so you'd have to give lower Fame Tree ranked players an audience option to watch it. And of course make it wide open with no restrictions on character level. THAT would be hilarious too.

40lvl separated would also be nice, but last man standing is tank arena, not really fair either.. As funny as it would be to watch

 

No grouping is not ok.

 

Grouping is why we see Field Marshall and Marshall on one team, just stomping others to bits.

I don't think it would be a tank advantaged arena. I see SW's and Rangers who are so completely scary powerful, DK's do not stand a chance against them. It would be raining meteors, lightning, chain lightning, nets, guardians, wolves, tree wraiths...it would be so chaotic that it would probably cause massive lag lol, still would be funny to see.

In my experience doing CTF, whenever you see lots of Flagbearers and above on one team it usually means that they are grouped. There is no way that the computer is going to put the same persons on the same team randomly match after match. It is just the way of the system. The only option is to disallow grouping. That was done sometime ago by a glitch and there was a huge outcry. In this one the devs are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Damn if they do and damn if they do not .

We lose that match, cyanite shield is very effective.

 

It's better than groups being separated like we did when we played grouped, remember? That was a disaster.
Besides, mostly when I'm grouped, I get grouped enemies. Who are much harder to defeat than random ones. And groups in 5v5 are people who play 5v5 and know how it works. With random, it's much easier to win because they put weaker players, but, mostly they have no idea what are they doing which is much more frustrating then losing from mortis buff noobs - with buff noobs at least you know why you lose xD

 

All I remember is that it was last summer ... and we end up fighting and swearing among us.
Anyway ... grouping should be forbidden. You don't get in groups and you don't get grouped opponents. Grouping is good base for cheating.
