which wand is better?

i have 2 wands both 3 slots. 1 is 55 damage 14% faster attack; second wand is 52 damage 20% weapon damage 7% attack speed. which one is better?

 

Depends on what you need. I, being a "speed enthusiast" or w/e, prefer the first wand. However, if you like more damage and have big rubies... the second wand would be better. All depends on how you like to play.

 

Yeah I would probably take the one with the faster speed. I can't stand to shoot slow.

speed is more important , for me.i would choose first one .but let me tell you there are way better ones with speed ,dam, and crit% dam

 

As a level 45 SW myself I use the speed most, even though the damage is ok both are important to success in the game. Find a balance like use the best damage wand you can find then beef it up with speed. You'll find the balance makes you deadly.

Speed. Speed is not just about fast attack, it increases the overall damage you can inflict.

okay i ided a new wand. 1 ,30 speed. a wand with 4 speed bonuses. so it is better than 1,14 speed + 55 damage?

 

55 damage is a lot to give up for 16% speed. The way I like to compare them is this... in terms of gem-worth. So 55 damage is worth 5.5 Polished Rubies and 16 speed is worth 3.2 Polished Sapphire. Which means that you could make up the 16 speed easier than the 55 damage.

But, if you need speed really badly or you like speed, you can set that aside and give up the damage.

I suggest you compare your stats... do you NEED the 55 damage? Because you NEED fast speed for PvP. If you lose too much damage, don't do it.

30% speed/ 4 enchantments = average 7.5% per enchantment
The wand could be better (although I doubt you'll ever get another 4 speed enchantment wand any time soon)

To sum it all up, you need to decide which one you prefer for yourself because it all depends on you; we can't tell you which one will be better for you because we don't know. IMO, though, I still prefer the speed.

 

ID'd a new Wand about a week ago that had much more damage than my old wand but also much less less attack speed. Even with all that extra damage I didn't feel it could replace the one I normally use but before admitting that I'd wasted another 1500+ COT, I decided to equip it and play with all that extra damage for awhile.
And of course Mr. Dumb A _ _ (yours truly) managed to somehow melt down the old Wand. ' A day that will live in infamy' as one of our past President's once said. My attack spd fell from 1.81 to 1.43. Monsters I once laughed at are now killing me on sight. No, it's not quite that bad but most fights are a little longer and a little harder. Based on that experience, I believe SW's should choose speed over damage. The silver lining in this tale of woe is that I was suddenly the new owner of just a little less than 1 million glyph's and that a stack of green essence now seems to last forever.

 

Take the speed. Speed is much more difficult to get than damage, damage you can get in a multiple of ways (belt/necklace/weapon adornment/rings/offhand) but speed only comes from the weapon and unique gear). Same goes for boots, speed above everything else.
