  2. If I am correct, the video you linked and the link you posted are of a program that violates the ToS as it modifies the way the game works. I am checking with the higher authorities. (I.E. Board Admin) If I'm wrong, I'll restore your post.

LoL, first andermant generators, than bot programs and now this...

This game is ruined, and admins and dev's can't do anything to stop this.

There are so many players which use this apps to interfere with game and use this advantages against other players.

  5. The program in question is currently against the Terms of Service. If the developer wishes to receive permission to distribute the program as a legitimate tool to be used with the game, they can contact Support and get in contact with the developers to have them go over the code and make a decision.

In any game there are people who think that they are better than everyone else and that they are entitled to some sort of special treatment. They are the ones who exploit bugs instead of reporting them (But will complain to no end when there is a bug not in their favor). They are the ones who will pay for a bot program. They are the ones who wait for someone with the technical knowledge to come along and then use their product to make the game unbalanced. It is not the developer's fault. That blame rests squarely on the shoulders of those who create and use these sorts of programs. The developers are only human and can not anticipate every way someone will try to crack the game. However, once they are aware of an issue, the work diligently to fix it. Did you know that every time they release a new release, the bot developers need to scramble to find a work around for the patches the developers put in? Can you name how many bugs existed with bosses or dungeons that were exploited ruthlessly by the players until they were eradicated? My point is that the developers do their best to make a game for you to enjoy and they are doing everything they can to stop these various exploits.

P.S. Andermant generators never worked. They just changed the number displayed by the client. It is the same kind of tool as the one that allowed people to look like they have 10.00 attacks per second. They were graphical, not functional.

Did you know that with every new patch bot programers outsmart your devs, every damn time? How is that possible? Please tell me that.

Eradicate bigger bugs, improve game, do not let any new patch comes with a lot of bugs, and last most important - eradicate cheaters from game. When "you" do all this, we will admit that "developers do their best to make a game for us to enjoy".

We do not see any improvements on this matter.

In the end I do not know why I am discussing about these things, anyway I intend to soon stop playing this game. Mainly because of these reasons.

  7. I will answer your one question as the rest of your comments are just your personal opinions.
How do the bot developers keep coming up with ways around the game developers countermeasures? The thing is that the people who program these bots are as smart as the game developers... if they were not, they wouldn't be able to make money off of cheaters. There is a saying "Nothing is truly foolproof, you only need a big enough fool." In this case, nothing is truly hack-proof, you just need a talented enough hacker.

Could you do better? As I have said before, it is easy to point fingers and complain about a situation, but unless you have constructive criticism it does nothing to solve the issue. The game developers are working on the issue and that will have to be enough.

As this thread was originally about whether or not a program was against the ToS. It has been established that it is. If you have additional issues that you feel need discussion, open your own thread.
