Good place to farm items

I have a lvl 12 SW and a lvl 34 ranger. What are some good places for them to individually item farm? Thanks

 

Hagastove Grotto, Catacombs/Crypt of Kings would be beneficial for your Level 12 Spellweaver. Your Ranger could also farm Catacombs/Crypt if you want to fast farm Crystals of Truth, otherwise Fortress Teganswall/Sigris/Khalys/Herald are good bets.

At your current level for the ranger, you'd probably clean through Mount Suvius grinds faster than Temple Sector. I've been pretty fortunate to pick up drops of the Treasures of the Deep set in Mount Suvius and very fast to repeat (make Ashraya your main return point, and start from that exit right to the other end before Mystra and port back). Temple Sector is a bit more of a run (from Ashraya, you have to go through Ship Graveyard & Heart of Atlantis before you finally get there) and it's a much larger map with lot more bosses/leaders than Mount Suvius (you only have two).

With your SW at level 12, I agree Hagastove Grotto would be best for quick grind. When you're a bit higher, then I agree Catacombs/Crypt of Kings would be the preferred sweet spot. Even at level 39-40 with my SW characters, Cata/Crypt together as a single clean are the dungeons that drops the most CoTs and gems per run; don't forget to pick up the repeatable quest from NPC Benjamin each run.
