I'm a free to play player.I decided to never put any money into a game and that includes Drakensang...so...is it easy to be a F2P?I know it's hard and it takes a lot of time and commitment but is there any hope?I'm lvl 42 and I have quite bad stats and items but is there any hope to be really good?I'm not that active and don't farm that much but..Here are my stats:[IMG]

If u want f2p then will will have to farm for everything, that is the only way you can do it...
It take time but be patient and anything is possible...

I like both pve and pvp.In pvp I always play duels because that's the only thing I can win now.I can kill players strongger levels than me and somethimes even ranks or stats.About pve which items should I farm and where.Don't send me a link to the Drakensang Online unique page item on the wiki I alredy spend enough time there.I just don't know which items should I farm and how long does it take on average.I want to have Starlight but it's gona be hard to get it..very hard. Thanks for help.

I have alredy done q1 and q2 but I will do them again for the new rewards because of changes.About the Temple Sector do you mean farming for uniques, items in general or CoT's.I farm CoT's in Catacombs,Wilderz Cave and Slifmoor as well as parallel worlds.

Farm wherever you can get the most per time unit and do not spend CoT on legendary items you aim to get through quests like pauldrons or headgear. Make sure to have enough free inventory to make the most of farming, save up ander for gem sales and start hoarding gold for a cloak. Sell green and white jewelry and melt the rest.

F2P is hard, but with a lot of commitment and time you can get as far as any paygamer. Of course you are unlikely to get any sacred stones anytime soon, but all else is farmable. Also i suggest to play on low levels, as it is nearly impossible to catch up with highend lvl 45 paygamers.

I consider myself F2P. Only playing for about 8-9 months and had premium 3 times. One during this Sargon event, 1 during the desert of essences event and one without anything special going on. I think i turned out quiet alright:

you are a mage, so of course your hp and armor will be lower, but you should at least be able to get your damage upt to 600-800.

As suggested by spiro_spula, dont waste CoTs (Crystals of Truth, it took me a few months before i knew what CoT meant :p) on legendary gear on the right side. If you finish the PW quests you ll have ammons uniques from helmet to shoes. Try to get your left side items as legendaries, i d say start with a wand, crystal (which you have already) and ball/book, then the other items. Then you should at least turn out to be an average/ok player.

For farming, in your case anyways, i d farm in atlantis above water. 3 levels below you, so eventhough your stats, it should be doable. Maybe you can find some players to team up with or ask me if you re playing on Heredur. My ingame name is Gramps01. When farming in atlantis above water, you should have some chance on dropping atlantis uniques (not the beste maybe, but perhaps better then what you have and cheaper to upgrade with glyphs) and maybe you re even destined to drop roshans uniques there :D

Good luck, and maybe see you ingame.

As the others said, it's not easy but it's possible, I consider myself F2P keeping in mind I bought only twice premium.

In my eyes everyone that bought even once premium are payers. You all are sugesting him to play pvp earlyer in game and then mister Lawyer comes up with his stats :D. Play PW's, farm hard, make end game equipment and then play pvp, my advice.

You can't really say that you are f2p if you bought anything, including premium and ander. You could be an occasional payer or a regular, but not really f2p. Real f2p means no bought help whatsoever, at least that's my view.

My answer would be: No it is not easy, but it is a lot hell of a fun. It takes a lot time for farming but if you have a good base of friends it is like singing your favorite song. :D
I am an f2p and never have paid even for premium. But like I said it takes a lot of time for grinding. And sometimes that is getting boring. To avoid to get bored we usually are forming a group ... and no ... we don't farm in group, we farm at separate maps ... the purpose of the group is only for endless chatting while farming. :D
These are mine outdated stats posted some time ago in other thread.

Well to get a unique like Starlight is very hard normally, I've tried for over 2 years to get enigma/riddle from Khalys, no luck.. And I'm active everyday and kill Khalys atleast 50 times a day, for some players like me, the droprate is a joke. But someplayers are lucky and get it in a few kills, goodluck with that anyways

This is my completely F2P sw. I know his stats aren't that great but I've been told by multiple people that I'm pretty good in a fight. :) F2p is hard but its not impossible. BTW he's a seasoned centurian pvp rank. ;)

If u play 8h per day, u might get 50 polish gems in half year(takes longer if u just start the game) worth of 110.99ish dollars.
Pure F2P means being 1 shot killed in half year and 2 shot killed in a year:confused:pretty tough. But u can enjoy farming with friends.
My advise: get a decent job/part-time job, farm in reality.Way fastest than farm in game:)

You clearly don't know what you are talking about.
My advise to to your advise is: When you get that job buy yourself a lolipop ... it might come handy in the time of farming. :D

Well, without reading the other posts I’ll tell you it sure isn’t easy but it sure is possible. No offense, but those stats are quite bad. My suggestion now is don’t waste your COTs to identify anything below a legendary. Try to do PW quests with others now if they bring you or full/new moon events for some quick nice free Identified items. Farm for COTs and gems at lower level dungeons now since your stats aren’t good enough. Try switching off your weakest items (like your boots and pauldrons now).
