The new forum - Discussion and Feedback

Go to your username(all the way up)
Hover your mouse over it and click Preferences, in the Preferences there will be a checkbox that asks if you want to show Signatures. I see yours right now. It's a cool dragon with a blue glow in its body.

 

After lurking around for a while I think I'm getting used to and like this new forum better with the notifications, Inbox feature and the cool new outlook.
Also, I see people complaining about the New posts feature, I'm actually thinking it would be easier to spot any new update on a different language forum since they are mostly updated before the English forums
Not to forget we can translate them as well.

I dont want to read any other language in the new post section, except the one I choiced in the Home page.

I cant log in using my old Forum user And Pass,it is really confusing (Nice Smilies LOL)

 

I am not the fan either but i have hope that over time it will get much better.
I think that Current status message font color should be something more visible and not the black font onto dark gray background.

 

i miss the today's posts where you don't get 10 pages of results you cannot read.
need to if in English forum get English results.

On the Russian forum in this topic written 11 pages. And on the English forum only 2 !

 

Not sure yet, need to adapt i think. New features are nice, easier to reply to posts. Colorcontrast between letters and background makes me a bit dizzy, didnt have that with the old forum colors. Might just be that i'm tired at the moment though .

 

indeed. How hard can it be to make a filter for the 'new posts' page ... ... should have been done already imho

 

The forum is great, the only problem is the English forum moderators are slow on updating it. Look in other forum, the moderators in other forums are far more active than English forum moderators. For instance, R115 was posted in English forum after over 5 hours from it was posted in other servers.

Hello forum Moderators, Knock knock....

 

Trying to figure this out but having no such luck.. New posts shows me ALL the languages and not just English. Any way around that?

 

I just "watched" all forums and whenever someone makes a new thread I am notified with Alerts. I also watch threads after reading them and am also notified when someone replies to thread Takes only a few minutes to watch the forums. A forum is a specific section, btw. I believe "Discussions of Current Topics" is a forum.

Is it possible to log in directly from the forum page? I feel stupid always clicking community and then forum.

 

The only complaint I have thus far is that signatures appear to be hidden by default and have to be turned on. -.-;; I was wondering why no one had signatures weeks after the new forums launched.

 

Sure. After you have logged into the forum then save the link in your browser (as a button or whatever depending on which browser you use) then just click on that to go directly here.

I just have one question, why is there no Danish forum anymore? I can't seem to find it anywhere.. After this new forum appeared it jsut disaapeared
