Animation Lag/Bug

So as I am sure it has been mentioned before, mostly likely even by me, whatever change was made to the animations has made it almost impossible to do pvp. You cannot tell ppl are attacking you, except your HP is going down. Please tell me this is being looked into and corrected?

 

Yup, it has gotten really hard to play, my gameplay isn't as smooth as it was before. Hope there is a hotfix soon

 

I think almost everyone is experiencing these issues. I expect a hotfix will be applied as soon as they can write one. *crosses fingers*

I was seeing it last night on Agathon.

 

Agathon. It just seems like the "movie" is playing, but frames are missing. Sometimes the frames that are missing are exactly lined up with when the player is attacking. Sometimes you see some of the attacks, but they look weird.

Agathon for me as well. Sev described it well. Very jerky motion when there is motion at all.

 

Tegan here. Both pvp opponents and party members' attacks in pve have a jerky motion.

 

Agathon here... people's attack animations had no delay. It was like I was being attacked with light beams, but at least their attack speed wasn't increased. All in all, it's not very fun in PvP right now.

Yeah. Sometimes you see no attack, but you still take damage. Other times, you see only parts of the attack animation, making it look strange; jittery, or halting, but you'll be damaged the same as you would normally.

You always see your own attacks normally. It's other char's attacks that can look strange. It can happen in PvP or in PvE... but obviously more annoying in PvP.

Just conjecture, but I wonder if it may be related to the attacking character's attack speed? Some people never seem to do it but others seem to have it very often. When my attack speed was 1.51/sec, people reported seeing me not attacking at all. When I raised it to 1.56/sec, people say they can see a little bit of my attack. Attack speed may have something to do with the problem.

 

Heredur is "infected" too , a lot of players have this animation lag problem

 

Yes herduer too lags in pvp and pve ,the one with speed attack is quite annoying .

 

u make arena sucks with lag
and over this many times invisible players in arena

 

Drakensang is "ruined"from my opinion. More problems at every patch.
