Funny thing is that I do know how things work. Yes, making a bot for a simple program is rather easy, but having a bot developer that is smart enough to constantly find ways around countermeasures put in place with each release is someone who is smarter than the average hacker/programmer. If you read the bot forums (Which I do because it is very entertaining at the moment), You'd know that their developers have done a lot of work with "Anti detection" because they know a simple bot is easy to catch.

The thing is that BigPoint got to the point where they were sick of being on the defensive and just trying to prevent botters with each release. The went on the offensive. If you want to compare it to war, they gathered intel, lulling the bot developer into a false sense of security with not looking like they were doing anything out of the ordinary. They still gave out their 3 day or 1 week bans. They still put in changes in each release that forced the bot developer to make changes each release. All the while, they were setting up ambush, a trap. They had all the information they needed to make their move and when they did, they crushed all of the cheaters without mercy. So I guess that you could say that BigPoint did "Let" people bot for a short while while they perfected their trap, but it was never their intent to let people bot forever.

So don't overestimate yourselves.

read an example about how much good players are the bot users and how good an average field marshal like me.
bot user ranger stats:life 9k,armor 4k,damage 1300,unlimited red,unlimited blessings.
average field marshal ranger stats:life 7k(hardly),armor 3k,damage 1000.
green essence no blessings.
many many times i win in these battles.So who do you think is the noob and who the good player?

3. Stop arguing amoungst yourselves
4. Stop insulting each other.

I am sure you would all like the producers feedback arguing between yourselves and going back and forth between yourselves it getting away from the point. It gives myself a lot to read through and you are looking for feedback from the producer.

Now why would someone set up his browser to Serbian/Croatian language ... and using a German language as a proof for devs conversation (or support).
Only and only Devs can ban and unban account ... and they are not working at weekends

I m from croatia and I play in german guild.. and they got their acc on friday back

 

as I sad earlyer not all the banned players where cheaters.. many where banned wrongly and deserv some answers..

 

This might be the most entertaining thread to read since they moved the forum pages.

 

what about the pvp rank?will the banned players be removed?

 

It has been mentioned as a possibility by the moderators. We'll just need to wait and see.

This entire thread is so worth the read! lol Didnt think this would be an interesting thread but the botters made it really enjoyable fiction. (might have skipped a few posts but hey some of those botters really know how to type haha)
The stories of some botters just keep getting better and better the more they post. And they all have similar stories.
Most posts of botters requesting a second chance were not even worth the read.
Asking for leniency is saying you are a botter.
Love the 'no mercy attitude'

Come on would you really be punished for what you did if they took away all your botted gear and gave you a one week ban?
You knew it was wrong to use a bot and still you did it Nothing can justify you using a bot - even if you did it only once
Harsh measures had to be taken and hopefully for you - and your wallets- you have learned your lesson. I'd rather not have you in this game anymore, but luckily for you it's not up to me

hmmm you write quite story... but sadly we cannot see the whole conversation we just see "im back"... and "coming to play thru browser"... not a word from ban and i would thought if they were banned they would say something about it?
sorry for my suspicious mind but i remember u saying earlier that you were banned too so that would give you big motive to lie. you know, try to create illusion that the scanner is not 100% accurate and it bans innocent too so they would have to check all accounts again... and now was that what you were hoping in your earlier post to check you again... yes it was...suspicious
though even if they checked players second time it would not lead very far because they would see the bot using except that now they have had time to cover their tracks...

but what you say could be true also we have seen many script failures from BP and this kind of problems woudnt suprise... but still for some reason i cant believe you, but maybe Rick or support does who knows
