Nobody has to prove anything any more, bot users just need to realize that they were caught with their dishonest little fingers in the cookie jar. You can at least show some spine and face the consequences of your actions like a worthy human being rather than crying and trying to weasel your way out of the mess you put yourself in.

Uhm, I'm afraid its not. My Avast! (newest, free version) also found a part of DSO client as a Malware. I had totally fresh system after re-installing Windows and C format, installed antivirus immediately, then downloaded Java and DSO Client. Unfortunately I hadn't made the screen of that detection since I didn't realized that "thinclient.exe" is DSO!!

 

And you are saying that BP is hacking your computer? that must be the stupidest thing someone has said here... and you need to be quite sure because that starts to be pretty serious accusation. you might end up in court for what you are saying.

and @-Kibela- now i know why your stories are so suspicious... so you are saying that 1 or 2 member(cant remember how many) in your GUILD is released from banning = 1-2 innocent... you saying too that check your account = +1 innocent... so that would make what 2, 3, more?? wrongly banned... in SAME GUILD??? sounds like the odds are same than in winning lottery

 

My IT knowledge is rather low, but I know what I saw on my CPU. And that was Monday or Tuesday (Wednesday?) last week, Thursday I was absent most of the day. Now I have no detections, but I had my CPU switched to the black screen and having complete scan after restarting. And I wonder... And I never used the word "hacking" or anything about this - before U use such a big word in this context, you need to know the legal definition first, and then check if it matches... But thanks for warning, mate

 

You are saying that BP entered to your computer without your permission
= BP breaks in your computer = hacks, at least in some cases. im not sure the correct terminology but i think it's pretty close

P.S. and don't believe everything that vankata-bot-forum-moderator-guy says in bot forum. He/she is just one captain in sinking ship and they are trying to hang on what ever "rope" they can get

 

I never sad I want my acc get checked again.. my friend did that.. If I got bann ok.. but no one from dso want to explain how they came to the conclusion that I was boting (what I didnt)..
I dont want to explain myself here because its not the place to do that..
they want fair play.. great me too... it would be fair that they give me some explanation
if they show me evidence that I m guilty thats fine with me.. but just to say:

I've sent a message to Avast! support - I would like to know how to check the history of my detections, coz I only see some statistics in the programme

 

FYI and I really want to get away from this thread, but DSO like EVERY OTHER SITE YOU VISIT ON THE WEB installs cookies with each use. Cookies that determine your computer usage for targeted advertising, etc. The Razor Promo was the worst of installs. You had to agree to them actually monitoring your computer usage when you used their product for "targeted" advertising etc. But I'm sure very few actually read the Razor agreement, Stellar Gold was too important to bother and millions let razor into their computers blindly. NOT SURE IF I SPELLED IT RIGHT. I did not install the Razor software myself.
But yes, DSO is inside your computer in the form of tracking cookies, and like I stated, just like every other site you visit on the web. Unless your computer/browser settings are set up to clear cookies automatically after each session, they stay in your computer and you need to clear them manually in your internet security settings.

so you say its bad for the company to install detector programms wich find non related with drakensang programms trying to communicate with the dso account.

personally i would be huppy if there existed such a programm included in dso client.

and not only to detect but to prevent non dso reletad programms(bot and other programms) communicating with dso accounts.
that programm would be considered by me like a firewall not like a virus or spyware.

As I understood they banned "ALL BOT USERS THEY CATCHED SO FAR" and I'm 100% sure he was on whatever list they made..

Yes in the future they would do more banning waves, but who says the guy din't stop botting now and now escapes getting banned? Please tell me BRO.

i dont know what kind of method they used to detect the bot users but im sure they are all of them in the list.they just didnt ban them all at once.I dont know why.maybe because the servers would be empty?(yes it was too extended the bot using)

 

Not saying it's bad. It is what it is. It's the internet. Tracking cookies, spyware, all of it is a part of the internet. No one can get away from it. Maybe the DSO program while running does bot hunt. I don't know. All I know is that when I run DSO, it is severely CPU heavy which makes me wonder if there is something else running in the game software sometimes.

 

they guy might have been already banned when this 6k strike happened... so he couldnt be accused/banned again on same reason... so wait to next bans and lets see this again and maybe he stops using and starts play fair now that he is seen this?
