Let me give ALL of you an explanation what I think of this Bot-Banning-Wave thing..

1. 6000 bot-users? As I mentioned before and I'm sure about is that YOU guys haven't banned 6000 bot-users.. Some of those you banned sure were bot-users of course, but some "might" not have been. Why?

-CAUSE!! 1 of my first and best friends in DSO recieved a perma ban. He payed well to this company and was 1 of the bests. He farmed more then everyone else I've known and was very dedicated to this game. He told me he contacted support about it and got told he got banned because he used bot and the perma ban can't be removed. He told me there was no reason to sue you guys, but instead he decided to leave it there. MAKES ME SAD and even more MAD! He could SUE you guys for doing that, but instead leaves! Sounds weird, yes maybe, but honestly I understand him. He only farmed Q6 map 2 all day (If you guys detect bots by tracking how they run, then might over 1.000 Q6 map 2 runs same way have triggered that you guys marked him as bot-user? Who knows, cause you don't tell us sh*t). or was hunting for 1 unique at Mortis (the helmet).

The game was anyways in the end for him, but still please understand me.

Honestly I would not even have given a F if he was, cause he was the BEST friend and BEST player I've played with and YOU guys PERMA BANNED him!

2. BOT-USERS - I would say 1 week would be fair for all those you guys "claimed" as bot-users. Keep them on list and check next time if they changed or else "perma ban"

2.1 - Why have mercy with bot-users? Cause there is a difference between those who are jerks using the extra power the bot gave them to show themselves off as idi*ts and those who used it to avoid ALL THE ENDLESS GRINDING in this game.

- Seriously everybody... Who is really the criminal here? The bot-users or BP themselves? Endless grinding for almost no reward or the fast BP sucking money power grinding. Choose your path, lol.

Anyways just to ADD this. I would also like to say that the reason I say 1 week would be fair is because some of the PLAYERS might never even have started using the bot if you guys WOULD have shown sign of that you cared and worked for stopping this.

3. Patch 123.

This goes for you RickTalrok and everybody else working with you.

In this patch 123. 6000 bot-users-banning-wave, YOU showed me who the real jerks are, not the bot-users, but the DSO team.

 

answer easy way to get rid of strong players,they reached almost everything and kill beginners with one blow.Blaming everyone in bot

Its a fresh beginning but they keep their beloved characters ))

 

These cheaters, after being caught cheating. They want to sue, they F people/BP, they lie, they argue, they spam the forum, they start a petition, they come out with all kind of stories and excuses as if they are right to cheat.

They blame everybody and everything else except themselves, for choosing to cheat.

Just so you know, I haven’t been reading the whole 28 pages of discussion, but I will share my opinion on this matter.

To protect the integrity of Drakensang from hackers/botters in the future, it is especially important that no second chances are given. The developers certainly don’t want to look soft in front of the botters and creators of those bots, not this time because it is to my knowledge the FIRST TIME EVER the Drakensang team has taken any actions against third-party programs and illicit players.

Yes developers, you are setting up stage here, you are showing them who is boss. Most importantly, you are proving to them with cold, hard evidence that hacking/botting by any means, whether right now, or in the future is no longer “safe” despite what those bot programmers advertise.

In the end, no matter what the outcome is for the botters, the message to the players is clear:

“You want an easy way to the top of this game? Go ahead, hack and bot all you want. But if you want to get to the top and stay at the top, you better play as an honest player.”

 

These images prove nothing. No one has gotten their account back. It is not possible for support to give accounts back, only us developers can do that and we aren't going to do it.

Yes, we are working on it. It was an oversight, we should have prepared this at the same time as the ban wave. Live and learn and all that jazz.

 

Hi Kalan89,

There is not a possibility of a mistake and we will not be returning the heroes. Banned players can have a second chance, but that involves starting from level 1. And I hope they realize that they better not do anything naughty this time.
