Why was Ammon's Gear Nerfed So Badly?

5% running speed. Seriously? It doesn't matter because I use the dark set plus starry robe, but seriously, 5%?

And after being promised Ammon's Set bonuses for 4 and 5 pieces, those bonuses are not going to be available for old Ammon's gear ever. Seriously? We've waited patiently for these Ammon's pieces only to be told we have to repeat the parallel worlds with a newly nerfed drop rate for crap gear. By the time anyone is outfitted with 5 pieces of Ammon's gear, they will have their full dark sets or Keen's/Roshan's/Yachak's/Spark's (presuming, of course, that they are allowed into the parallel worlds to get to bosses like Khalys for decent farming). Till then, I guess there is always Map2 farming.

As a side note: when are we going to see more knowledge skills?

 

The new Ammon armor has beter stats in the armor itself plus it is the level you are (45) so that was the reason the set bonuses are not so great the wings give good damage so i guess that is one reason they changed the set bonuses.

 

Perhaps, but the stats are "variable" meaning you will have to repeat at least one, if not 4 parallel worlds to guarantee items with acceptable stats.

Just another huge, ill-advised time-sink to keep us busy while BP does something about content.

 

You can get the old ammon items dropped from monsters just like normal world drop uniques.

 

Seriously? Has this happened to you? I'd like something resembling confirmation of this claim.

 

The old Ammon's set is not available at this time, but it is planned for a release in the near future.
