1. I am new to the DSO team, as such it doesn't make sense for me to comment on past mistakes.

2. The old way of banning bot users for a week was obviously not a great idea, since it didn't stop people from botting. The new way will stop people from botting, unless they like permanently losing their account after a week or two.

3. Players have been warned multiple times, though I agree they have not been warned for a while. It is pretty obvious that using a bot is against the terms and conditions. If you or anyone else didn't read the terms and conditions, then I refer you to the human centipede episode of South Park.

4. For obvious reasons, which I've already stated in a previous post, we cannot divulge our detection methods. We also don't need to.

5. No. There will be no exceptions.

6. What about all the Andermant unfairly gained, all the players unfairly defeated in PvP? There will be no refunds. No one made another pay, no one made anyone use a bot. Let this be a lesson.

7. I've already permanently banned players for exploiting bugs to a ridiculous degree, so everyone be warned. No one will ever have a problem in DSO if they play fair.

Wrong policy according to you, right policy according to the vast majority. We all hold our own views, my view about the future of DSO is obviously different to yours and I plan to do my best to change your view to a positive one over the next months.

how did you come to the conclusion that I boted??.. ma char is nothing special.. not in pve not in pvp..
I had acc on grimag and heredur.. played heredur 99% of the time.. I dont even rememver when I was the last time on grimag but I was banned there too.. ok you say you detected bot use (witch I didn t).. I get ban.. but I didt even open the grimag server for least 6 months... how could you detected bot use there???.. why bann grimag server acc??

We are people on this planet that must also forgive. Everybody makes mistakes. Nobody is without sin among YOU , even. This can cut the root of a tree and not give him a second chance to grow. Give people a second chance to play the game with desire.This will be a lesson to all. If they use the bot again then they banned permanently. They are invested a lot of nervs, money, and not only.... they have many friends here......

 

if your caracters from the server grimmag or heredur are on the same account they are all banned i gues

BP heroes now? Well.. You guys properly haven't noticed that BP is a company who has focus on profit and making bigger profit, if you think they make stuff to satisfy us players, you haven't been playing this game for as long as you claim or overall playing their games.

Before you start writing DSO devs being good people, focusing on YOU. Then you better remember all the s*** they have delivered throughout time, without showing any reactions to what WE wanted fixed before some months passed.

Uhm.. it will be rather hard to change my view into positive if there's no true players to play with :/ To be happy with your party you need to have some characters of simillar strength like your own. And the same for people's gaming skills.
And please do not forget that i referred not only to the recent bot-banning but to the overall situation since update 89 (I believe it was update 089.. hell lot of time

Making lvl 15 accounts to get the phoenix yourself is also cheating and against the rules, SHOULD they not be banned aswell then?

Cause I can give you a directly link to a guy who makes a video showing how HE broke the rules and created accounts and leveled them up to lvl 15 to get phoenix.

Should HE then also be banned? together among all others, who did this?
