New stats , weapon just droped at mortis tonight . Waiting for Gnob to come so i can put on more crit . A better shield and more speed are on the list .

Got my Powerful Sargon Armor. And it is awesome! I was able to melt my two low level legendary items (head and shoulders) for 3.6M Glyphs (LVL 39 and 40) and immediately upgrade all three of the Sargon items to 48. Now all I need is a good 2H Sword with comparable damage to this Ax and my speed will go up to 1.55. What a fun day that will be!

And did I mention that these stats are almost only radiant gems? There is still plenty of room for improvement!

 

Nice job! If you can buy radiant gems, try getting a bit more resistance. One bad thing about Sargon is that it does not have much armor value. In my opinion, Sargon set goes best with a good shield along with a 1h sword. This is because since you have hp and lots of hp regen, a good defense along with DK's 45 talent would allow this set to be used to its full potential. Using a 2h weapon means that you won't have much armor and obviously no blocks/block dmg. This would make hits hurt while not buying time for you to regen lots of hp.

 

True, but I am generally a PvE DK so this is perfect for me. I only lost about 400 (for a difference of only about 3.5% damage reduction) armor to gain 800 HP, 100+ damage, 5% speed, 29HP regen/sec and a bunch of andermagic resist... not bad in my book :-D. I need to get back to farming now for gems, glyphs, and ander, and that is where I will really make my improvements. I cant wait to open the 3 extra slots on the armor.

EDIT: Biggest thing I miss from my days with a shield is the extra slots. I can put up with the lack of extra armor and block because I can heal the damage I take, but I really want those 5 slots back... Like those lucky rangers who get their choice of shield or quiver no matter which kind of weapon they chose.

 

I see For PVE this should work fine. Personally, I would increase my crit value for a PVE 2h DK (My real life friend's account which I gave him the build ) Just wondering, did you ever try dark with keen's? I think that works really well especially when you have radiant amethysts to cover up for the lack of hp as well. Crits a bunch more!

 

I took a break of about 6-8 months. Unfortunately, that was when most of the Dark Set got released. Further more, Keen's set refuses to drop for me, and even if it did, I would't use it because of having the 2 pieces of the Defender's Set and I would lose HP and attack speed if I used the gloves with the boots.

I've said it before, my build is a precarious thing and it takes an exceptional set to replace the items I use.

EDIT: The crit issue is why I am looking for a 2H sword with a line of crit of 600 or more. That would bump me up anther 250 and would make me happy enough.

I'm sure in two things. First i know you are not president of USA bcs i know his toon's name and its not Jolakos and second, yes i'm sure that block rate is low.
