Attack speed seems same !

I keep swapping sapphire gem from legendary weapon to Sargon weapon depending on whether I am doing PVP or PVE. my max speed with legendary weapon is 1.74 and with Sargon staff it's 1.66 but lately what I noticed is that there isn't must difference in attack speed on both. I tried to check my attack speed with some low level staff with no sapphire on it and still noticed there isn't significant difference in my attack speed from that of 1.74. Can anyone verify it or post a video of their attack speeds at 1.74 or around it so that I can compare and write to support. I feel like I have almost lost 10% on attack speed.

 

Perhaps someone here will remember the link, but someone on the German forums did a little experiment. They counted how many attacks displayed in a specific length of time for various speeds and came to the realization that there are ranges of speeds that all display the same graphically and you don't see a visible change until you cross the threshold to the next "speed bracket."

 

Certainly, it's hard to tell the difference in speed if the attack speed is very close but I think 10% speed breaks that "speed bracket".

 

If I remember right, the brackets got wider the higher the speed got. I really need to go look for that thread.

 

And when you look at someone with 2,50+ you can´t see anything but flickering!

 

Really? you are talking about seeing a difference in .08 of an attack. attack speed is messured in *attacks per second*. the faster your aps the more you will notice the difference. I can really see the difference in mine from 2.00 when i droped it to1.88. hope this help

I think maybe this problem is for rangers and sw, maybe its something to do with the projectile animation.

I did a test with my dk and found no real issue, but it wasnt as thorough as that russian guy

 

The animations can't even follow when your speed reaches around 2,50
