Account based gems

Hello everyone!
I was a frequent player in this game but i stopped when bots appeared. Now its time to return! But i personally would like to live that adventure once more with a brand new character. We all know that in this game GEMS play an important role, especially end game. So what if we could "transfer" our precious gems (that we farmed for 2-3 years or even paid many $$$) to new characters. I mean, we do own them right? This will refresh all players, the hole game. We will not hesitate to start over and improve our characters and more...
I would like to hear some thoughts!

They probably won't make it happen even if some would want to. They want you to restart it since it is a "new character" and you can choose to pay again. Not having this system does prevent someone for making a high level account to farm and transfer everything to low level account and kick the butts of new players at low level pvp.

 

I agree, but this will increase the low lvl competition = profit. And i'm saying for 1 time per account or something similar. On the other hand lets say you want to try something new or you made a "mistake". It's not bad and i do believe its a positive thing for all, BP and players.

I would agree, but there is one tricky thing - the change should be one-time one-way, meaning one should not transfer gems from lvl 45 pg to small lvl and then back to 45 thus getting huge benefit compared to those who just started the game and do not have gems from 2-year farm.

Indeed, one time - one way. Its clear: Give the opportunity to players to restart the game without losing everything. Its really helpfull and will keep the game alive much longer. Starting all over again when on top with zero help for a 2-3 years player, its hard, really hard. And eventually will stop playing.

 

With the concern that these transferred players will have much better stats than the average same level player and therefore cause imbalance in PvP, why not ban them from PvP until their new character reaches the same level as the character from which the items originated.

 

True, but there are many low lvl players that "invest" on their characters and still own low lvl. I speak about 30lvl flag bearer etc... Why not give the chance to other players to try rank up in PvP. Its all about the competition.
It still can be added with the kind of rename and visual reset (paid) or free for once per account.

I see your point, then F2Ps that had endgame characters can reset to low levels and compete with the low level P2Ps... but that would just make the low level PvP only for high ranked players. What of the F2Ps that just joined the game, PvP would be a nightmare regardless of level, and even more frequently than it is now.

 

I understand this, but low lvl "beasts" already exist. F2P characters will always have to deal with P2P characters in all games. Also, this doesnt mean all players will restart the game. For those who are willing too. Its an option. A tool for players.

->Unbalanced PvP? Well low lvl PvP will just have to adjust. Meaning that each one will have a fight with the same rank opponent, like 45lvl, end of story.

->New Players? Well BP will only make profit. New players will have to keep up somehow. You can't start a game when its about 3 years old and be on top.

-> Unbalanced Game? Well not. These will only refresh the game and characters. People will invest more "time" in this game.

Facts would only be available if the idea was implemented. The feedback you may get now is only opinion. Some would be of the opinion that this change would throw an even worse imbalance into an already flawed PvP system. Your opinion is different. And that's why we have a forum, to discuss such matters.

 

Like i said: Lower lvl PvP should be Rank vs Rank. Better matchmaking system etc. Obviously these changes cant be made without any updates.

Well if you want me to tell you flat out, it WON'T work. You make a new character, you start anew. They won't let you abuse the mentor bonus with your high level account and become a beast at low level. If they do agree to install gem level requirement, then I will agree with your plan. However, BP doesn't show any signs of trying to create level requirements for gems.
P.S. I've seen a level 9 Flag Bearer, that is what you'll become if they let you transfer the gems.

 

Sounds good and fair! That's a very good idea.

Now for a lvl 9 flag bearer. That character should only play versus Ardent Knights and flag bearers of his lvl. If there aren't any, so he must lvl up. Force him lvl up.

 

lol most of that gems you got on bot farming so you wont them back and when was dragon farming you sleep he farm so dont be how to say i dont know you mean because you have premium that you spending money for gems more your bot farm that gems than you buy them enyoj

I wouldnt start this discussion if i was "bot" player. These gems are a lot of time my friend.

 

Competition is at cap level ... at low level is frustration = people leaving the game.
I don't support this idea. If you made a mistake ... good ... correct it at same character. Want a new adventure ... create another character, what kind of adventure is killing monsters 10 levels higher with single shot?

 

Not nice to randomly accuse people of botting :\ As far as I know, botters banned. He can buy those gems or farm them with time.
