More than once now, I load the game and then end up either afk or reading things in another tab while I'm still logged in. This has, on several occasions, meant that I missed whispers or guild messages directed at me... and whoever sent it is now offline.

An indicator for when someone has gone inactive for a period of time (eg. 10 minutes or so) would be helpful so people don't try to message me, or they message me knowing I won't reply. The indicator could be as simple as italicizing the name of the inactive person on the friend list, no need to get overly fancy.

Developers will not "help" people being afk... Servers with lots of players are laggy in many ways, they don't need to get more overloaded by afk chars. If you leave a DSO game online for a long time in my case it is shutting down automatically, with Client. I guess this doesn't works with browser's full screen mode, not sure. So... yeah helpful for players, I'm doing what you doing many times, but not for high population server, especially when popular events or "nice" contents are going on.

Hmm, I hadn't realized that there was any kind of auto logout feature. I play entirely from browser, window sized.

If anything, I'm a bit surprised that I've never gotten auto logged out. Previous MMOs I played would do that after a specified time frame, so I never had problems with people messaging me while I'm afk.
