Or, instead of arguing over the differences, plug both sets of numbers into my equation here or the link to the graphical webpage that does it for you and see which it better. Maybe the 5% adds 50 DPS on average... or maybe the extra damage makes up for 65 DPS. Instead of a bunch of opinions, lets get a bunch of facts.

man, the more I got crit the less I hit it, maybe it's a bug, I don't know but am sure am not getting over 1700 crit any time soon even if I can.

 

Maybe it's paranoia.

I'm pretty sure 2300 crit is much better than 1700, even if it seems at times that it is not. I highly doubt such a bug went unnoticed for so long.

 

I realized that I need to get into PvP so that I can get my LVL 40 PvP talent. For a DK, the best way to do this is with 5v5, so here is my character respeced for Flag Running. He has no additional travel speed, but I think the stats speak for themselves.



EDIT: Oh, and as you can see, this is without a 5% HP Pet.

 

Not bad at all, you should improve block rate and add a bit more damage and critical, you'll have to defende while caring flag at some point, help from team will not alway be around.

 

very nice def stats however I suggest to get more run speed. there are some crazy dmg dealers out there who will cut you down while bearing the flag in a few seconds. especially when slowed and stuck in singularity.

 

I'm waiting on the next full moon event so I can try for the shield again. It is all I need for the new Wolf set. That should help with the run speed and even boost my HP some more.

 

Little update from me, this is just a early stage of New build since I got Helmet of Death last night and open it 1h ago.
Sugestions by how much and what to improve are welcome.
PS: Life is 7885 with out pet's.

8600 life - no pet's
3800 armor

 

better shield ,more hp ,more resistance,more dmg and litlle more critic i hope i help if you wont be op

I'am at the moment @ 67% armor and thinking to get it up to 4400 or 70%. Do you think is it worth it?

 

You better concentrate and improve your critical rate,damage, HP, resistance, block rate/block reduction.
With those stats you have now you can't survive in the arena or tank any big boss.

Since you were lucky enough to get Cloaked Wrath, I think Dark Helmet would be better than Helmet of Death for your overall DPS. The big increase in crit chance would far outweigh the loss of base damage. You would also gain armor, but you would lose HP (and HP you definitely can't afford to lose). If you could raise your HP, through gems maybe, I think the Dark Helmet would be a better option than the Helmet of Death.

 

Well I'll compare the 2 hemet's and see. It's gonna be hard to get gems, am F2P.

 

Yeah, I know what you mean. It's hard to upgrade gems when you have to farm for them. If I spent money, my HP would be around 10,000 instead of 8300. I just keep upgrading one +33 to a +50, once in a while. If I play for a couple more years, hehe, well... then I'll have spent a lot of time on this game!

 

OK ... I tested and I do lose a lot of life with Dark Helmet but get a lot of critical hit's vs Helmet of Death .. all in all you where right am better with Dark Helmet at the moment, I take less damage do to armor increase a lot (4315 vs 3942) and damage is almost the same, so I'll first increase critical. Thanke you for helping!

 

Glad I could be of service. The reason I knew the Dark Helmet would be good is because I'm set up 3xDark set and 3xKeen set. I'm just waiting for that Cloaked Wrath to drop to complete my build. I have not been lucky there, after about 800 Khalys kills

EDIT: Anyone can express his thoughts or give a suggestion about someone's gear, but make it in one post or in two at most. If you think you forgot something to say you can always use "EDIT" option. Same goes for the user that is showing his gear, you can reply to someone's opinion but make it in one post.
Imagine if one user is showing off his gear every week (he is lucky and gets good gear or unique items) and every other user is commenting every single post in between ...
Would you be able to find previous gear setup without checking more than 300 pages? I don't think so.

When your moderators say "stop off topic" and delete your posting, you DO NOT reply or type again same content in another post.
