PvP - please devs

wow! you know nothing about me or my pvp habits. and am not sure how it is that you think it can be made any more fair or balanced. what serve are you on? I am on Tegan and am called Johnlittle. one last thing. have you considered that maybe it is YOU? that YOU are the problem and not the pvp system..... just saying mate. i am put up against my lvl or better only nowadays and I do not kill in the field because i am in PW only. so try try again LOL

If you are dissatisfied with the current PvP system, clearly state what your issue(s) is and make some suggestions for possible improvements.

The main debate will come down to whether guilds/pre-formed groups should be able to enter a PvP match grouped even if their individual win:loss ratios and/or Fame ranks are considerably higher than the proposed opposing team, or whether the two teams should be broken up and the individuals re-assigned to opposing teams to more closely balance them.

Long-term players do not need to cast their minds back too far to remember a time when ranks and win:loss ratios were not taken into account at all. Matches were based purely on exp level categories (Lvl 11-19, 20-29, 30-40) and, not long before that, they were a free-for-all. PvP has been modified multiple times already in response to user feedback to make it more fair and will most likely be modified still further in the future.

And, regarding the F2P vs P2P: there is very little in this game that cannot be earned through grind/farming. The gap between F2P and P2P is closer than ever since the dmg of non-green ess was cut by 90% in PvP and, more recently, the 50% speed/dmg/armour buffs were cut completely.

 

Stop buffs and all ess except for green in pvp pots too ,this will give us some idea of balance or give penalty like lower honor points for those who use it, if u can't stop this plague
I agree lot 's of improvements but still a lot of work left ...
and yes Elo is crazy nowdays

 

This sounds like a bunch of complaining to me. If you can't win a PVP match, work on your character some more and try again. Join an organized guild as suggested. Learn your skill rotation, and improve it to better your experience. The developers of games work very hard around the clock, and regretfully, they cannot please everyone. Until you make a game that pleases everyone, I don't feel like you have the right to complain. However, constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcomed by the developers.

Remember, this is just a game. There is no need to become frustrated and annoyed. Take a break if it bothers you so much. Games are for entertainment value, so relax and try to have fun. I like getting home from a long day, enjoying some PVE, and chatting with friends. No complaints from me.

 

Well buffers and pots users are pain in the...but i still enjoy the game
maybe not buffers ,since chest buffs has been removed , but POTS and ess
3v3 ,1v1 seems to be really affected by pots ,guys this is simply cheating in final sec when u're thinking yeeeeh win ,suddenly your opponent use pot and u lose .

 

well... all I was saying... and will say... regardless of how you do it, there has to be a way to get some wins every now and again... blame me... I don't care. I've tried everything... farming, buffing up, waiting for different times, taking a break (at times for weeks), playing 24/7 to see what the best time is, joining guilds, joining groups, more running, less running, more gems, more armour, less armour and more damage, and in the end I still lose every battle... all I would like to see is: Fairer battles --- as in, there is not need for me to go up against the same buffheads over and over again. I know, I will lose those battles anyway. And if I have to, then for crying out loud give me some more points so I can level up eventually.

 

I agree! All buffs, potions and all ess except maybe green should be banned from pvp. Can't really decide which one annoys me more.

 

I am not sure if it's allowed to ask, but why don't you post screenshot of your stats. Looking at number of replies to this thread, I am pretty sure, you will get plenty of suggestion to improve your char.

 

Why green essences would be exception?


@ToshiBoy there must be something wrong you are doing it. You said you have been buying with money ... but yet you get no effect. You must be doing something wrong.

Well for me all can be removed but since Elo isnt perfect i know that some guys just need green ess ,I use it too and only when i have to ... by "when i have to " i mean pots buffs users in against team but my green is nothing compare to their red buffs and pots .
The other day i was thinking who on earth can afford to play red,pink on arena ...
who will waste such valuable ess in this way .. but they do
Some guys need it badly don't blame them ,imagine situation centurion vs marszal and this is the moment when i start blame Elo .
Pots ... this is cheating should be banned from arena .
in the end for me remove all (supportive stuff)... but we all know that this is not gonna happen

 

As a new player and new to pvp, It struck me odd hat pots and essences are allowed in pvp.

In 1vs1 and 3vs3 this should not be allowed. From my point of view these modes are more like duels and not all out wars. Not sure where is the sense of victory for someone who uses reds, essences and other temporary buffs in these match ups.

I would go so far as to say remove from all pvp events except free pvp.
