What Should I Do?

ok so im lvl 27 about to be 28, I've been struggling in PVP and PVE I can not survive on my own, here are my stats...

i want to do PVP but im just not powerful enough against any hardcore PVPer at my lvl and PVE is hard for me to survive alone

can guys tell me what do to get some good armor and wand, im willing to farm COT's and all that other stuff.

First of all i would never go with book (crit) on this mage, I advise you to get crystal ball for you, also change your weapon adornment (improved lvl19 is not good for mage which needs it very much), I also advise you getting little more hp and armor i know you are mage but you wont be able to do quests nor anything, you need good gems for resist and attack speed also, and get some travel speed in boots if possible to avoid attacks, now you will have to work rly hard to make this character "hardcore", to craft at least all EO items and get glyphs to upgrade them, also you will have to do much pvp, cot and gem farming, so I think you should just make those changes and continue lvling dont worry about pvp maniacs that are blocking xp and playing same lvl for weeks or months, you are mage you are a glass canyon by nature so don't sweat about it go into groups or call friends for help if you are having hard time, and besides burning coast and fortress and all those quests there are always giving players a hard time.

 

@Talicni should I lvl to like lvl 32 and farm a few lvls lower then craft to extraordinary/legendary? Also how do i go about getting gems other than the daily gem bag?

Khaly has a good gem drop for me, Sigi also, but sometimes i go grimmagstone if i get lucky i get nice gems, maybe you should find groups to craft items that are higher lvl then you are so you can collect enough cot to unlock them till you reach that lvl.

I'm not sure, but using Avatar picture same as the Administrators, must be "illegal".
So probably if you change it you will avoid warning... or maybe not, if they don't have any problem with it. After all it doesn't say "BOARD ADMIN" on it.

 

If PVP is your target, cease PVE at all, unless at Cata / Crypt / Caves or higher area if you can get a higher level gapper of Min L33.

Get them to help you farm at Sigris and mix the equipments from Sigris with those from Cata / Crypt. You crafting results should be around your level. Eg Say 3 L32 Destiny Ball with 1 L16 Clairvoyant Ball and your should get an upgraded L26 Spellweaver ball.

Also try get the L20 Weapon Adornment Unique, I got it several times in Crypt and Wild Caves.

And have fun while doing it

 

I suggest you farm khalys or arachna a lot and get items. Get all extraordinaries and when you've done that you can begin to increase stats little by little by upgrading to legendary items.

Or you can go to Grimmagstone and farm for low level legendaries and spend millions of GoPs to upgrade and make the items good.

Either way is gonna require a lot of farming. A LOT. But then you'll be able to do damage in PvP and gain ranks fast.

Once you get to endgame the fame that you got at lower levels will help a lot and I think it will have been worth it.

I have a level 40 ranger that I should have done more PvP with and he gets destroyed in PvP. Ardent Cent fighting skoto+ almost all of the time. Same thing would happen to you so do a lot of PvP and if you have 40 fame you'll have a much easier time later.


Oh, right.. gems. Save up andermant and wait for Gem sales. I think Normal gems would do for now.. don't go straight to Polished because you will spend a lot of andermant and not get great bonuses.

Also, prepare for this upcoming Defeat the Undefeatable event. Save essences, pots, buffs and such. It has gem rewards that might help you a bit. Bosses might drop something nice. And well, the Draken MAY be useful... MAY... if there will be CoTs for sale when Gnob comes. When I bought CoTs they were like 150 drakens for 1k CoTs.. really nice.

@TheInfamous & @Guitarman thanks for input guys! And infamous I farmed Arachna to get the spider-heart staff and that's were if not all my extraordinary armor came from so im definitively going back to farm Arachna!
