With the exception of Knights Battleground, which routinely kicks my you know what, I've ran solo through all the dungeons a dozen or so times, all the while idly wondering what others were griping about in regards to invisible lazers unless with a group. I could see the lasers just fine...until about an hour ago. Man, those things are annoying, and very hot.

 

That makes sense... while it all looks the same on the surface, there would have to be a difference between them so that they could programatically tell the difference and know when to switch to the truly repeatable quest. Good point.

 

Box count is not a factor, at least at the present time. A group of 5 went in last night. Everyone could click on the ! mark to start the quest. Only 1 person could click on the ? for Perceval. Only 1 person could click on the gong. Only 1 person got a checkmark for the gong; the rest had to use another 100 to get it; 2 gave up on it. As far as chest outside go; 2 had 2 chests to open, but only 1 of them got permission to open. Everyone got screwed on the knight count, only 7 of 8 got to the quest log (again); the collision prevention and spacing issues must still be bogus.
We look forward to your next attempt, and the reset of the chests to make nice.

It wouldn't hurt to loosen up on the drop rate for capes; several have given up on that one, and DSO in turn.

 

this event i would rate a 9/10. it is my second favorite event (first is stellar gold) but the problem is, when you group for the battleground only one person can ring the gong. also since this event is soo long i ended up with a rare condition where my EDIT hurts soo bad i sometimes cant walk lmao i think its called coccydynia

 

too long event time... u can farm 30k draken ++

 

30k+ haha really ? i have killed dragan many times still only 2 times 100 draken and the rest 10 draken,also the draken from those chests are not all that common(at least thats what i have seen).....you should probably limit it to 6k i think which is only possible for people with infinte free time or money

 

I don't think BP intend for anyone to complete the set this time around.
The amount of effort (bugs aside) that has gone into creating this event,
I doubt they'd run it only once. Like the Sargon events, I'm sure this one will
be back. Hopefully without the bugs.

i know, BUT.. think about you finish the event with 3 black night cloacks and 3 squire cloacks (only 1 left to complete warlord cloack)..... how FRUSTRATING a player can be...

 

Hmm, kind of skimmed the preceding posts, and it appears all the negative feedback as been said, so I'll save my breath and just say the part that I don't think was said. But ok, I didn't read every post in detail, so I might've missed it. Who knows.

Good job to the dev team for listening to player feedback. Instead of dying to booby traps (-cough- Winter Solstice totems -cough-), the lasers do damage based on your hp so I actually have a chance when I don't manage to dodge in time. As well, making a map that only requires that one-time entry fee to Castle Ravencaw so I can spend the entire time just on the event map instead of farming somewhere else to even play the event is great.

 

11 out of 16 cloaks, i can do this

 

I was getting cloaks every 4 or 5 kills, after I get 1 or 2 cloak I stop attacking dragan, i am at 11/16 too I have already killed dragan like 30+ times and still haven't got the 12th cloak.

I hope it won't happen to you too.

On side note to the feedback:

The event is boring as hell. 22 days for event is too much. It is just discouraging me from playing dso. infarct, I haven't been playing much from last 2 days. I am not sure I will be able to continue this event to get 5 more cloak to complete my set.

Increase the drop rate and Decrease the Event time.

 

well the drop rate in castle is not bad , a lot of CoT i got and some anders (i love to be there for daily farming). although i saw some invisible laser around. good job.
about gears, idk but i have no passion for it

 

There are plenty of other places in the world you could go. You don't have to go to the castle just because the event is on. For players like me that can't play every day the length of the event is just about right for all that needs to be achieved. Except completing the armour set.

The general consensus in the above poll seems to agree.

I don't think the cloak should be easy to obtain. Think about all the other players that spent a lot of time farming the fragments and gold to get their cloaks from Zahir. This was one of my criticisms of the Sargon events. The Cloak of Gloom dropped far too often.

 

11 from 16 cloaks you are wery lucky i have not get last 5 days eny cloak...still have 7 what get in start...

 

I think there is a brilliant solution for your prblm. Go play something else, ignore the event.

Same thing goes for me, i'm still at 7/16 after 11 days... I think i will give up

 

theres a bugs for "Test Of Resiliense" in "Sulfur Desert" , sometimes one frag of 4/4 didnt drop.
