Puzzling sword issue

My new sword, this one is weirdly better then the last one, and I do not know how couse last sword was 110 dmg 40% weapon damage ... am puzzled as you are how am doing much better damage with this one. So my sugestion is, always test sword.

 

Let me solve your problem. Your current sword gives 476 crit value. From the looks, you are using the new warlord set with your 2h weapon. Warlord set has absolutely 0 crit value, and thus I assume your crit value is pretty low before you use this weapon. Therefore, when you get a 476 crit value increase, you get a lot more crit % which helps you deal more dmg.

 

You are wrong. My damage gone up, and it's not couse of critical on sword or Warlord set wich I used with bouth swords.
My base damage was higher with other sword but this one does better damage, dont ask how I do not know

 

It is because of the critical hit and one other reason ... maybe your sword was empty(without rubies).
Post your stats with both swords and we can easily solve the mystery.

 

I cant, I sold the first sword but I did test bouth swords with same gems and result was (sowrd1 = 110 dmg 40% weapon damage / sword2 61 damage 38% weapon damage)
swing = sword1 1100 dmg / sword2 1560 dmg
smash = sword1 2700 dmg / sword2 3800 dmg

 

Iam not sure, if I can follow you guys right. But do not forget the Dragan Set gives you 30% additional damage on your weapon damage. Not you basedamage!!! that is a huuuuuuge different.

 

I am aware of that and test I did was with Warlord set (or Dragan set). Since you broth it up, maybe the only explenation would be that I was not geting set bonus for damage with the first sword?

 

In terms of number, that is impossible. Your first sword clearly has higher dmg. You either memorized something wrong, or you hitting different monsters. Different monsters have different armor. Another possibility might be you switched another piece of equip after getting your sword 2. For example, you might have forgotten you weren't using the warlord set before. Guess you made a mistake somewhere but just don't know. Those numbers don't lie.

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was it. I heard complaints of it not working before.

I already sead I tested bouth swords with same gems and warlord set what part of that you did not understand I do not know.

I ges that explains it, I was not getting bonus.

 

I guess this is where I come to say to keep it polite..

 

Warlord set gives 30% weapon dmg ( and it always worked). The difference there is +40% total dmg. So even if it was bugged it doesn't explain it. Sorry but you did something different, or those are not average values.

let me be clear:
I used Warlord set when I did test, did not change it by mistake or anything like that, you can see creenshots of bouth sword, bouth had 2x 15 dmg ruby when I did test.

Now, sword 2 give me higher no critical and critical damage, so I absolutely was not couse of critical on the sword, you have to understand that. I know this does not make sence but it's realy true.
I do not know, how or why I have higher damage with sword that gives less damage, my only ges is Warlord set had no effect on sword 1.

 

I have created new thread were we can discuss @Master0fpuppets ' damage issue with two different swords.

 

I understand every part of it. But as I said "Numbers don't lie", but your eyes and brains do. You might have made a mistake, cause those codes don't change just for you. There is NO WAY sword 2 deals more dmg without doing the crit. How about you go test a level 10 2h sword or something and tell me it does more dmg at level 10? You don't make sense. We already gave you explanation, it is human error. Humans err, that is normal.

 

crit / sword 1 = 1100 dmg
crit / sword 2 = 1560 dmg
there are the numbers, no mistake. try to understand, that thouse are the numbers. I explained same thing 3 times to you now ...

It's too late, the first sword is gone. This is becoming what we call "beating a dead horse" I think. Since the experiment can't be repeated now, there's no way to know if there was a bug or a human error. Time to put this thread to bed.

 

No human error, I told you the trouth you can accept it or not accept it but that's what I got with 2 sword on same gear and gems. I know better then you what dmg I got with what sword, It's mine after all, so stop it pls.

Well, if you sold your sword, you can ask Support to return it and maybe it will be returned to you so you can test it again. However, if you melted it... it is gone for good and this thread will never resolve itself. In which case your request to close the thread is justified. Good work, everyone. This didn't get too far out of hand. We tried, that counts.
