Banned from the forums bug!!!

Hi guys n' gals,

If you get banned from the forums without any previews warning from breaking the forum rules, then don't worry its a unknown bug at DSO HQ.

I don't know why DSO hasn't made an official statement about this issue/bug.

Well just in case this happens to you in the next few hours or the next few days, don't panic...its only temporary.

Yes I can confirm, that is an bug.

Because no one from our team have been aware of that issue so far, neither was reported by other users.

We are sorry for any inconvenience, we are looking forward to seeing this issue fixed.

 

Happened already ban is ip based, not only one acc xD. Support resolved this in my case pretty quickly, only 2h approximately.

 

Mal3ficent, I was referring to DSO HQ and not to you nor your coworkers, we all know that the forum Mod/Admin can only transmit the info given by DSO HQ.
(Sorry for the misinterpretation, it wasn't intentionally)

The failure comes from DSO HQ directly, they already knew about this problem and choose not to share it with the communities Mod/Admin to inform their members...which is very disappointing.

Yes, they block our IP address, but i couldn't send a support ticket to solve nor to report it, because even that was bugged...every time i clicked on send, it would give me "error".

I even post it on Facebook and nothing, no response whatsoever.

My banning time has ended and i only want to warn everybody, just in case it happens to them in a near future.

 

My heart stopped.

Perhaps as a way of compensating for the bugs.....

Anyhow, I was also IP banned and a Support ticket resolved the problem. I was really wondering what action I had taken was worthy of an IP ban but seems I've done nothing.

 

How about all the good advises posted previously by you, trying to help others+newcomers...thats worthy of being banned

and you still wonder why!!!

 

Because the main dude (yours truly) who receives email notifications about issues such as this and then posts the information to the DSO English Forum.... also had his IP addy banned Still... in my case, I probably deserved it.

With all due respect, that's one "bug" that i won't swallow.
Taking the heat for somebody else fault, is so typical of DSO.

Any of the CM that works at DSO HQ, could have easily posted here or on Facebook.
No, they were too busy posting pics of having fun at the office.

Well...anyway, its good to know that you have a sense of humor and responsibility(even when it isn't your fault), keep up the good work.

 

B-O-D, U Da Man!!! But, for the rest of the story, as -faeriequeen22- said, 'my heart nearly stopped', but luckily I was nearby and my intense training in mouth to mouth resuscitation saved the day.
