For example; I disliked the event item pricing

- because they were too low.

I hate it that we have to kill "Worthy Monsters" every time to participate on events. Most players don't want to level up and they don't have EXP block friends. Sadly I won't be able to participate on this event.

 

Just play the game like it is supposed to be played and level up like all others.

 

Easy to say if you spend real money in the game. Whenever you level up you out-level your items as well and you won't be doing good on PVP against donor players.

 

That's why you first need to level up before you start building your gear.

Noticed that I'm just seeing snowmen in all player access areas. Looking in dungeons and not seeing any. Is this just a way to make farming snow ess harder so we have to buy it?
Wilderness areas turn into a free for all and it gets ugly with commentary. I'll look in another couple dungeons but if I don't see snowmen, that's just really not cool.

 

Many lose connections when entering maps, long way to get in game after connection lost. All who is in group don't get snow ess only the one who clicked on it.

Best loser event ever and look at the rewards?
No one buys essences for this poor rewards. Another great job from bugpoint.

this is not good, not at all. The fact that they are in open areas is an other frustration. Soon hordes of guildies swarm these area's leaving nothing behind fot others. Was it so hard to place these snowman into dungeons ?

 

Constant crashes related to porting between zones (though I noticed this happening for me only while wearing some of the event costumes, but that might be only coincidence). Not only that it frustrates by crashing a lot, but logging into game after that takes several minutes/attempts.
Event rewards are also quite poor, not counting event surprise boxes which might drop some useful stuff (CoT and similar, in small amounts, though). In general I am disappointed on event again.

 

Everything is good, expect the fact that to collect Essence for Big Paw, it's too hard. Yeah those Snowmans should be in the dungeons. This is a one in a Year event, Christmas/New Year period, so must be in all the ways a "festival" and not a hardcore grinding competition. Fun for the gamers, a "gift", not a money oriented event, you have a lot of events for that anyway.

 

I've enjoyed this event last year, most of it because of the reason it motivated us to play in groups and farm essence together. This time its just disappointing. Only the person who clicks on snowman gets essence drop.
Why would you ruin such a nice event? Not fun if grouping is forbidden.

 

Collecting Ess is rly annoying i have 5 lvl45 on epic mounts ONLY in swerdfield pastures you haven't even considered that low lvl's want to get to m2 also?

Can't collect single snow ess....

 

With my decent equipped lvl 45 ranger I used just over 400 snow ess solo on easy Big Paw, my damage is good but not awesome like many of the 45's. I solo'd Hard map, sheesh, let's just make sure there are 2 red rings together everytime now shall we :/, omg that gets sticky, especially with normal mob hordes. But used 700+ snow ess to kill Big Paw there. Easy enough for a ranger, just took a bit longer. 1 gold present from hard boss , gave a purple and a green item, gee, that makes it worth it all.
But I personally enjoy the winter event. Melted a boatload of gear from 1 run, both maps, so for glyphs it's okay.
Think group play in maps is best. As far as ess is concerned. I do not know personally if the event is group difficulty staggered, I assume it is, but next runs I will try to group with 2 others.
Will solo my lvl 45 DK first though to see how it is for that character of mine.
Rewards may suck but all in all it is a break from the monotony of PW and farming.

 

Would be good event if not for all the disconnects and such. I just got a nebula assertion while about to kill the big bear on hard mode. Had him set up, perfect spot to tank him (no missile cannons), started to attack him and "bam" I'm kicked out to Kingshill. No other red beet, no way to get back in with my group. Same run, normal map, a ranger in my group got 2 nebula assertions and then he got a 3rd on the hard map and couldn't go back in. Nice game you got here, BugPoint. I'm about three nebula assertions from quitting this game.

 

i haven't tried to collect ess yet, but instead i entered the event map and the most annoying things of all are those never-ending test stones!!!

why in the world would you put such time consuming immortal totems that 1-hit kill you?

every time i die i have to pass those and until i get to the point i originally was i die two more times killed by those stones...

please remove or make them killable...
