I know Drakensang Online has no age restriction so there will be little kids but I was wondering if Drakensang could have a gore mode in options that is switched off but can be switched on if you like.(just like the extra graphics option and blood effect option)Because I really liked the blood effects and I love a game with a gore mode.;)

Yeah, I would like more gore as well. And a generally darker theme would be nice too. DSO has this happy and cheerful tone. A lot of lighting helps with that, and I don't like it. I would like it all to look like Kingshill at night (?) during the Halloween event in which Sargon made his first appearance.

I agree, it looks just too bright for me. Maybe a setting to choose darker or brighter lighting would work?

the best option is that the light would be synchronized with the real daylight or darkness.so in the middle of day be brighter and in th evening may be get darker.

I think that would be hard because it is not day or night all around the world at one time.

they could make a in game 30 min day 30 min night but that would probably give the game allot more unneeded MB's

    --MERGED--

Drakensang online also needs a Evil or darker class for next class.:D

Who told you there is no age restriction?

1.1.2 Only those individuals who have reached the age of 18 are entitled to use the full scope of Games and Services provided by Bigpoint. Individuals under a certain age who have the express consent of their legal guardian may nonetheless be prohibited from participating in particular games due to age restrictions specifically applicable to those Games.

1.1.3 By registering to use the Games or Services, the User expressly warrants and represents that (i) he/she has reached the age of majority and is legally competent and/or (ii) in case of being a minor, he/she has obtained an express consent of his/her legal guardian(s).

Furthermore, continued use of the Games and/or Services by minors that have reached the age of majority shall signify approval thereby of any and all declarations of intent previously made in connection with the user agreement, unless Bigpoint is notified in writing of such an approval being withdrawn within two (2) weeks of the date the minor reaches the age of majority.

I think what thinker meant was, that BP doesn't ask us for any type of age confirmation upon creating an account in DSO.

BP only added those terms, because they are obligated by law.

Yes that is true.(it is easy to play Drakensang if you are under 18.I know of mostly 14 and up.)

    That is not true.
When you start new account in order to play the game you must agree to terms and conditions. Otherwise you wont be able to play.
This is exactly the same way other software and apps are using in order to install them/use them.

By accepting terms and conditions means you have read them and understand. :)

Only because its in their terms&conditions doesn't make it true.
I already said why...no company in the world can sell/offer "free violence" content without those terms&conditions, its intent is to protect children.

Does it work...no, because BP doesn't enforce age confirmation after they accepted the terms&conditions to protect children.

How many of all underage can even understand those terms&conditions???
Probably only a handful of them!!!
Those terms&conditions were written by lawyer's for adults, not children.
Even some adults have difficulty to understand them, because its very confusing.

There are thousands of teenagers playing DSO!!!...how many of them has BP closed/banned due to violating their terms&conditions??? none!!!

Meaning - DSO has no age restriction, because there is no age confirmation needed to play this game or any other game offered by all company's.

Well I don't think there are to meany under the age of 10 and most 10 year old kids know allot of things that are for 18 year old's.I played 18+ games when I was 9 and I don't think it messed me up in anyway.I am 14 now and I don't think Drakensang should be 18 rated anyway. To tell you the truth, the blood effect on Drakensang are minimum.

O and we are off subject.

It would be cool If ranger used a precise shot, and victim was killed, it's body would fly away with Ragdoll physics or If spellweaver threw a meteorite, everybody inside got their body totally teared apart. It will add hilarity and that "kill satysfaction" :) also better atmosphere and it will be more realistic..
