Release 132 [FEEDBACK]

So um, did I miss the post that says when 132 will be live?

 

I have a bug/issue with 132 to report - since it's not live yet I didn't think it belonged in Tech Issues - wherever it goes hopefully a Mod will put this there:

I decided to play from the beginning on the test server with a brand new SW character. It was pretty fun, I think better than the floating island for sure...

However, when I got to Kingshill and talked to Cornelius Remin... one of the things he told me is to talk to Matilda Keen. When I went to talk to Matilda, she had no quest for me. I'm pretty sure she's supposed to set me on the path to all the "slaying" quests in Swerdfield which start, I think, by bringing someone a Gremlin paw/claw from a Swerdfield Gremlin. I was not able to get that quest or any of the "slaying" quests (kill 20 slimes, kill 50 gremlins, etc).

(I think) Because I got no quest from Matilda Keen, the whole slaying quest line was inaccessible. If those quests were removed, then the message to talk to Matilda should be removed from Cornelius' dialogue. If the quests are supposed to be playable, then there is a bug that should be investigated.

all it does is give me the download screen. can't play browser seeing as I'm not on my computer atm that means I can't play. hate new screen too much bs to go through just to log in.

 

Yeah i was quiet disappointed when i did not see the fix to the positioning bug, this is making a lot of people frustrated and i would have though this would be a priority for Bp..

 

being a developer myself, i have normally found that if you have a stable release and then release a new one that breaks something (i.e. position!!!) then it is quite a simple job to revert back to the old code that works, and then only release that new feature when it is tested fully and working. don't understand why that is not the case here.

 

will there also be more quests for lvl 45 or its only for lower lvls??

5vs5 seems to bug for me... at least im having very big difficulties to make points. game just doesnt recognize me with the flag... also when i was standing where you bring flag and our team killed enemy flag runner and returned our flag in base (basically under my feet) game just throwed me few steps aside just like if you are standing at respawn point and someone else respawns too there.. i tried to run over our flag over 10s with flag but no point... internet connection was fine and i didnt have any lags when this happened. and this happened every when i was trying to make points... only 1 successful attempt when running over 20s over our flag when carrying flag

 

So Grimmagstone shows on World Map, as level 40, but is no longer a destination from travel stones, nor is it accessible through land??? EDIT

 

Of course it is accessible, Grimmagsotne is PW map (Q1). You can enter through Watery Grave.

 

This update is amazing, honest!!!

The 1st thing i did, was to go to my Balor account.
After my 29th death from the hands of lvl's 45, I came to the obvious conclusion that Balor is impossible to play now, all the big gun's are at Swerdfield now, looking for low lvl items, its time to delete my 2 year old character, thanks for that DSO.

But now comes the good part, at Grimmag n' Heredur server's, I will revenge my deleted Balor account by not allowing others to farm or do quests.

Revenge is soooo sweet!!! hahahahaha

P.S. forgot to mention, now that i deleted my Balor account, the name "Tormentor" is back on the menu, so if you like that name...go fast and take it, before its too late

 

Well, what if I want to revisit Grimmagstone but NOT in PW???

Farming is an inevitable part of thsi game, after all!

Also, there are supposed to be new Quests, but neither in Grimmford or Kingshill did I see any Exclamation marks... Neither on map, nor wanderign around.

I certify with my writing that I can indeed read. lol Which I did. And the point I raised was not addressed.

Nowhere does it state that quests would eventually be available, but not at inception of this Release.

Nowhere does it state that Grimmagstone would no longer be available at higher level, except in PW.

Sorry! Not trying to be a pain. Just pointing out the facts.

 

new release has nothing for older players just new. and this line in the patchnotes as directed

is not true as there are no new quests in grimford

 

hmmm this is ok R. for beginners of game but for 45 veterans its useless but ok ! and u remove one dungeon from game that is never good job! and like always u did not pay attention to details .. on game welcome hero pick list 1000 gp. cap is clipping whit ground! bah not good not good, pay attention to details!

 

The position bug should have been fixed in R130 or R132. The fact that it was not fixed in that time period constitutes a failure on the part of the team, IMHO. The other possibility is that someone higher-up the food chain is telling the team to leave the bug in on purpose to make money, which is an ethical failure. Either way, it's a fail.

Since i loaded game today i've gotten Nebula error 3 times.


Anyone else having same issue?

 

I want to repeatable mission from Grimmagstone, I want minibosses from this location, I want a dungeon like this and really i do not understand why Bp wipe out Grimmagstone with all options for all gamers from lvl 4 to 45 Now I have not place to do the daily missions . I have no place for farming picks and gems. And the new graphics are ugly, gray, dirty, horrible, I can not see outlines, mobs, boxes, grass, does not have a ground. For me it looks like made by person with daltonism. There is no color. Previously, Kingshill and DSO were yellow, orange, red. Now they are tabbies and gray. I do not like this change, another unnecessary and disgusting patch, discouraging to play dso and to pay you for this.

 

New Grimford is so pale and lame, sometimes i think i'm playing this on my sega from 90's. Grimmagstone!!!, completely wiped out, no more farming for low lvl items, another bad step. New training quest maps wow, once again you think your game is so good that you have tons of new players, guess what you're wrong! New login page doesn't have "quick start" option.?. Lame, lame.., lame!
I can't understand what we should like in this release?, a new login animation of Khalys?, wow that's great, you have my humble bow for this one.! Someone should tell you straight, you're not making this game better with this release, you're destroying it more and more with every new one.
