English Speakers?

I have yet to run into any english speaking players since i started. What is up with that?

There are a lot of us out there but easier to find is heredur and the American servers

well I think agathon has the latin america people so there are mainly spanish I dont know about the other one but go at kingshill speak to public chat at rush hour and someone will answer back for sure

 

Let me take a wild guess. You signed up. It asked you to pick a server. You saw two with american flags by them, but it "recommended" that you choose Agathon. Next thing you know you're in Rio de Janeiro. Am I right?

Same thing happened to me. But Greekhell is right. Go to Kingshill when it's busy and just ask if anyone speaks english and you can usually find a few. Also check the guild section of the forum, you'll see some english speaking guilds recruiting.

There Are Plenty Of English Speaking Players On The Agathon Server
They Are The Ones Not Talking Out Loud Lol
Many Are On At Different Times Of The Day, Give A Shout Out And Some One will Answer You....

I am at kingshill and there were tons of people there lol i said "Any english speakers" and got no reply. I will go check out the guild forum and see what guild would be best for me. thanks for all the replies

Don't ask if there are english speakers ... some would ignore you even if they are speaking english.
Instead type your request in english ... and you will get response ... eventually.
Don't expect that by entering the game you will get attention. You must meet people first.

I am from western Canada...love the ocean coast...english speaking...Zlomy loves the community and the game sis awesome..even if there are gliches and all..you tell me what other web site runs into troubl...hahahaa ...monster mashing..group questing..all good..!!!!

 

Then go to guild introduction and check for agathon guilds if you find one at english forum the chances to be an english speaking one are pretty good

Time of day is also a factor. Tegan varies a lot over the 24 hour clock and shifts between three dominant languages. Sadly, English subjectively feels like it represents only 50% of the conversations. Just be patient and you may have fun picking up a few phrases and expanding your horizons in other cultures.

I have 2 chars on agathon, just give one of mine a whisper and remind me about this thread and I'll gladly help if I can. look for Wolfspellcaster SW or Rynnrockmouse SM. I know a few english speakers that would love to here from you

 

Maybe they should take one of the U.S servers and dedicate it to the Spanish and Portuguese speaking players.
